Earlier today I posted this >>1169910 (attached), because I saw this post >>1169430

Which got me thinking how long we have been at odds with Iran, at the time I just focused on the Obama Administration, however this really does go back as far as the Carter administration. (I haven't looked further than that)

A few minutes ago, I found this article,(only highlights in post as it is a bit lengthy)

I pose the question again: Is''' Iran ---to US'''?

Trump Admin To Grant Iran Missiles Capable of Destroying Israel

Administration insiders, congressional official outraged over concession.

The Trump administration is poised to legitimize Iran’s ballistic missile program, granting the Islamic Republic the ability to produce and test a series of missiles capable of striking Israel, according to those familiar with U.S. concessions during ongoing talks over the future of the landmark Iran nuclear deal.

"I honestly don't know how the president can sell Israel down the river like that"

A State Department official confirmed to the Free Beacon that Iran's long-range capabilities are currently up for discussion.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), a vocal opponent of the nuclear deal who has been advocating in favor of tough new restrictions on Iran, told the Free Beacon that the fixes proposed by the Europeans and supposedly endorsed by the Trump administration do not go nearly far enough in addressing Iran's contested missile program.

"Obama's Iran nuclear deal was fatally flawed from the beginning," Cruz told the Free Beacon."The deal required reckless international concessions and incentivized the international community to turn a blind eye to Iranian bad behavior. These proposed European ‘fixes' don't address the missiles Iran would actually build, the inspection problems that would actually arise, or the eventual sunsets as they would actually occur. They would only constrain the Iranians from doing things they never would have done. President Trump should reject these empty promises and withdraw America from this disastrous deal."

I agree with that, but how and who put her in charge of him, is another question, seems as though there are more questions than answers at the moment.

This guy is a huge red piller, I watched this several months ago, he is for real and he is heavily regretful. Amazing how someone who was that entrenched, was able to get away and live to talk about.

Asia Times: U.S. Admiral Outlines New Military Buildup to Counter China

The American admiral slated to head the US Pacific Command is planning a buildup of American forces in the region along with closer alliances as part of the Pentagon's new strategy to counter China.

Admiral Philip Davidson, the nominee for the command job, revealed in little-noticed testimony to a US Senate committee how he will restructure the 375,000 military and civilian personnel, 200 ships and nearly 1,100 aircraft in the region.

If confirmed for the position, a prospect likely in the coming weeks, Davidson said he would "re calibrate" the command in line with the Pentagon’s new national defense strategy.

Report: Center for American Progress Retaliated Against Employees Who Reported Harassment

The Clinton-aligned think tank Center for American Progress (CAP) struggled to deal with sexual harassment in its ranks, according to current and former staffers, with two employees alleging they were retaliated against for reporting their harasser.

Interviews conducted with 19 current and former staffers, broke the news Monday that former CAP manager Benton Strong was accused by two women of sexual harassment before he left the organization to work at the Seattle mayor's office. According to one woman, Strong sent her text messages asking to perform oral sex on her, repeatedly suggesting they meet up at one of their apartments, and asking "whether white women or black women were better at giving blow jobs."

The first woman who reported Strong to HR also said she had faced retaliation and later moved to another team, according to documents obtained by BuzzFeed News. Several women in the War Room were told by managers not to associate with her anymore inside or outside of the office after she filed the complaint, six former staffers confirmed in interviews.

In an email to HR that was also sent to some union members on May 11, the woman reported that a close friend on her team (whom she did not name in the email, but whom CAP noted in response to BuzzFeed News was Mary) had been told by a supervisor "that they should be distancing themselves from me at work and should not sit next to me in meetings. I believe this happened Friday afternoon (5/6)," she wrote — three days after she reported Strong to HR.

NY Times Corrects Piece Calling Palestinian Terror Payments a ‘Far-Right Conspiracy’

The New York Times corrected a piece Monday that called the Palestinian Authority's very real practice of giving payments to the families of terrorists a "far-right conspiracy."

"Ms. Brown wants to use Facebook’s existing Watch product – a service introduced in 2017 as a premium product with more curation that has nonetheless been flooded with far-right conspiracy programming like ‘Palestinians Pay $400 Million Pensions For Terrorist Families,’" the Times reported.

That sentence was criticized by Israeli and Jewish journalists who pointed out it is a well-established fact that the PA issues stipends, often referred to as "martyr payments," to the families of those who are killed or imprisoned after attacking Israeli targets.

Liel Leibovitz at Tablet. "Read the real news, and you’ll learn that, in 2017, the PA doled out more than $347 million to families of terrorists who had murdered Jews, increasing the amount to $403 million this year."

"This is an item written in to the Palestinian Authority's budget, not a ‘far-right conspiracy,'"

GOP starts push for Senate rules change to speed up Trump nominees

Republicans on Wednesday will begin a push to change Senate rules in a way that would allow the faster confirmation of President Trump's nominees, after months of complaints that Democrats are dragging out the process.

The goal is to prevent Democrats from stretching out debate over several days, just to see nominees confirmed at the end of the process, sometimes with Democratic votes.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said Democrats have forced an "extraordinary level of obstruction" on even noncontroversial nominees.
