Retired law fag here. The judge, and I use that term with disrespect when it comes to that embarrassment to the judiciary, E. Sullivan, has no choice. It's a Federal case so the President has absolute Constitutional authority at any time to pardon someone. He wouldn't have that authority if the case was in any State court. Flynn is completely free now. Gag order removed.
