A lot of that got mixed up because the Western Gregorian calendar changed dates. You Eastern Euros use the Julian Calendar… at least for holidays. But we all still speak of the same St. Nicholas.

The sad thing is that I quite admire her Party (Christian Democrat movements). It's what I wish we had here. Socially conservative, but a good sense for some social welfare programs from the left.
