If you look up the offenders in your area and have 3 children under 6 in your home I would think it would be, in their opinion, very important to know if a local offender was someone they would have to worry about and how much. Be much less stress knowing someone made a bad decision as a young person and the 17 year old had insane parents that didn't know the stigma of what they were doing to a young man vs. a true predator

There is a big difference as far as preparedness of the community
