What we saw were packages of fake IDs, produced in China on an industrial scale. It would be interesting to know whether the photos were deep fakes or of real people hacked from state databases.

The PCR test in use doesn’t identify any particular viral RNA material. It could be anything, given the number of amplification cycles. It’s why we just saw the Portuguese court decision that the test has no legal validity and is a colossal fraud.
