Pence learned ALOT during President Trump's administration. I've indulged in looking back to watch the transition of who Pence portrays himself today. The transformation is palatable, not necessarily believable though, and that is the key. Pence LEARNED how to please Trump, say all the right things, act appropriately, but there is NO WAY he could carry that flag by himself.
That might make it WAY more protected, most of us have innocent family members or other parts of our lives we need to protect.

Oh please, it's not that bad in Canada. Most of the population here live on latitude with Michigan. The worst I ever had it in Canada was Edmonton, Alerta. Fucking wind from ever direction beginning October until may and it was SO COLD clouds literally froze and fell to the earth. NEVER GOING BACK THERE.
