It was going in the wrong direction to be doing that. I was launched from north of the camera and was traveling southbound. It would need to go west to hit AF1 as it approached Singapore.

TL:DR, the missile was too close to the camera (based on width in the image) to be traveling straight up because there is not the usual cloud of rocket exhaust on the water below it. It must have been launched from somewhere north. And it was traveling southbound on a very very low trajectory. They were not shooting at Singapore. They were shooting at the west coast of the US.

That missile was far too large to be anything but a Trident II. And a Trident II doesn't have that range to hit Singapore from Nova Scotia. It barely can reach from Washington state.
