They have very fragile egos…not necessarily a character flaw, but definitely "problematic".
I can't even get them to acknowledge the mere POSSIBILITY, however remote, that their "understanding" of the political world is not 100% correct.
If I thought it was "willfulness", I could easily dismiss it. But I think it's actually "weakness", and now I feel sorry for them. :(
Still firm, but never rude…they're gonna have a hard enough time waking up and coming out from under the covers.
Better to serve a nice warm breakfast than yell at them to get their lazy asses out of bed. :P
