Revenge should be handled by that which handles it best, God. By forgiving the ones that we may be tempted to seek revenge upon, we totally absolve ourselves from any of the negativity that comes with satiating that desire to avenge yourself. Besides, God kicks ass so much better than I can, so all I do is forgive the ones who hurt me. Then they'll never have any power over me, and plus, I'll never play into their parting gift, making me into something like them.
