in life, many things are humbling
when i'm sitting across from a client, in my limited clinical role, who is suicidal or is grieving the loss of their child
that is humbling as well
some may laugh at my professional (and, yes, clinical) degree, licensure, credentials, as "beneath" that of an MD - i don't claim to be an MD - that would unethical of me
that's fine, they don't sign my pay check
but they are no different than the elites who we discuss, ad nauseum, on this board
