President Trump Tells Supporters to Ignore the Grifters and Turn out to Vote in Georgia

On January 5. Georgians return to the polls for two elections. Incumbent senator David Perdue is in a runoff contest with Socialist Jon Ossoff. Perdue led Ossoff in the general election but failed to break the 50% threshold to win outright. The other election is a special election to fill the remainder of the term of Johnny Isakson, who resigned on December 31, 2019, for health reasons. Kelly Loeffler was appointed to fill the vacancy. She will face off against Democrat Raphael Warnock, who is running on an anti-police, anti-military, racial-identity-trumps-all platform (read Georgia Democrat Raphael Warnock Is Not Being Opposed Because of His Faith but Because He Is Anti-American and Has Bad Ideas).
No matter if President Trump wins or loses his efforts to correct the outcome of the election in Georgia, this election is critical. If we win one of those seats, Mitch McConnell will still be Majority Leader. Still, he will give up a lot of authority to the VichyCon Caucus, including luminaries like Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski. If we win both, McConnell’s control is a lot stronger. If we lose both, then we have a 50-50 tie, and Chuck Schumer becomes Majority Leader. Nothing good will come of a somnolent and semi-demented Joe Biden being led around by Harris, Schumer, and Pelosi’s totalitarian troika.
No matter what you think of the GOP, a weak Mitch McConnell better protects our liberties than a unified Socialist government.
Not everyone sees it that way. Some folks have convinced themselves that if the Georgia legislature will not commit to overturning the certified vote totals that there is nothing left to live for and, like Achilles, they will sulk in their tent while important rights and freedoms are stripped away or diluted into nothingness. While not very helpful, at least the proposed boycott has an ostensible tactical purpose. Other idiots are actually promoting the idea of writing in President Trump’s name on the senate ballots in January, apparently unaware that each such write-in is a spoiled ballot and will not be counted.
Today, President Trump came out strongly against this really bad idea.
Reacting to a story in Newsmax claiming that many conservatives were going to sit out the January elections, President Trump responded:

I think President Trump knows that if he loses this election, he will be the de facto leader of the GOP and the head of a government in exile. For that to work for him, with either an eye on another run in 2024 or to be in the position of kingmaker for that election, he has to show leadership, and he has to work to help the GOP retain control of the Senate and take back the House in 2022.
This kind of strong and decisive statement was exactly what was needed to pull in some folks who haven’t thought through the impact of what they are encouraging others to do, to ward of grifters hoping to fatten their PayPal account at the expense of the rest of us and to fire up Georgians to turn out on January 5.

I have one basic rule. Anytime John Brennan is upset about something, you know it’s good for the United States.
As we reported earlier, “someone,” likely the Israelis, took out out Iran’s top nuclear scientist, the father of their military nuclear program, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

Now at a time when there’s a possibility that Joe Biden might come in and re-up the Iran Deal and throw open the doors to all Iran’s predations once again, it’s not hard to imagine that someone might be trying to head off more possible Iranian nuclear build-up. That they did it because they knew that Biden would likely endanger everyone in the area cosying up to Iran and letting them get away with everything once again.
That’s why John Brennan was so completely infuriated, he knows the effort was to head off empowering Iran and that steams him, big time. Check this out. Have you ever seen him this upset about any actions against the United States? I daresay not.

I do not know whether a foreign government authorized or carried out the the murder of Fakhrizadeh. Such an act of state-sponsored terrorism would be a flagrant violation of international law & encourage more governments to carry out lethal attacks against foreign officials.

These assassinations are far different than strikes against terrorist leaders & operatives of groups like al-Qaida & Islamic State, which are not sovereign states. As illegitimate combatants under international law, they can be targeted in order to stop deadly terrorist attacks.

Earlier this week, Johns Hopkins University Newsletter ran a study from Genevieve Briand, assistant program director of the Applied Economics master’s degree program at Hopkins, that looked at the effect of the COVID-19 on U.S. deaths according to data from the CDC.
What the study concluded and the article said was something quite profound. The study concluded that the virus had “relatively no effect on deaths in the United States.”
So how could that be? How does that match with the facts of over 200,000 people listed as dying from the virus?
How can that be?
After retrieving data on the CDC website, Briand compiled a graph representing percentages of total deaths per age category from early February to early September, which includes the period from before COVID-19 was detected in the U.S. to after infection rates soared.
Surprisingly, the deaths of older people stayed the same before and after COVID-19. Since COVID-19 mainly affects the elderly, experts expected an increase in the percentage of deaths in older age groups. However, this increase is not seen from the CDC data. In fact, the percentages of deaths among all age groups remain relatively the same.
So what Briand was saying was that the number of deaths remained relatively the same for the elderly age group. Why?
When Briand looked at the 2020 data during that seasonal period, COVID-19-related deaths exceeded deaths from heart diseases. This was highly unusual since heart disease has always prevailed as the leading cause of deaths. However, when taking a closer look at the death numbers, she noted something strange. As Briand compared the number of deaths per cause during that period in 2020 to 2018, she noticed that instead of the expected drastic increase across all causes, there was a significant decrease in deaths due to heart disease. Even more surprising, as seen in the graph below, this sudden decline in deaths is observed for all other causes.
This trend is completely contrary to the pattern observed in all previous years. Interestingly, as depicted in the table below, the total decrease in deaths by other causes almost exactly equals the increase in deaths by COVID-19. This suggests, according to Briand, that the COVID-19 death toll is misleading. Briand believes that deaths due to heart diseases, respiratory diseases, influenza and pneumonia may instead be recategorized as being due to COVID-19.
The CDC classified all deaths that are related to COVID-19 simply as COVID-19 deaths. Even patients dying from other underlying diseases but are infected with COVID-19 count as COVID-19 deaths. This is likely the main explanation as to why COVID-19 deaths drastically increased while deaths by all other diseases experienced a significant decrease.
This is not a complete surprise that it be counted so, as people such as Dr. Deborah Birx explained that anyone who died with the virus was being counted, even if that person might also have died with other issues.
But then, after the piece obviously got a lot of attention, the JHU Newsletter pulled the article, saying that “was being used to support false and dangerous inaccuracies about the impact of the pandemic.”

People were suprised they were pulling their own article and running it down. JHU Newsletter said that there had been excess deaths according to the CDC and disputed the conclusion of Briand. JHU argues that the people who have comorbidities would be more at risk. That is no doubt true that those with comorbities and other issues would be more at risk. But it doesn’t explain the drop in the numbers of the other illnesses.
