I went in thinking possibly b4 they immigrated at age 11 from Vienna (1938) they were in Hitler Youth perhaps. Turns out family was locked out of original home zone of Czech by Iron Curtain. Soviets ploughed ancestral Catholic cemetery under. If anything, boys should've hated Hitler for the breaking of their father career and the Communists for ethnic cleansing of catholics (forced expulsion after Nazi loss to Red Army).
Younger went into geology, leader in field/mining co, SL City Winter Olympic bid committee, makes other lives look ordinary, been worldwide, sports, no sus racial or religious markers seen.
Older brother went into microbiology and wrote the textbook, researched corona (animal) virus dna manipulation… and ran the Duke Dept, involved in Duke expansion into CCP China with Duke Uni build at Wuhan… really the question is why CCP China? Duke already in Singapore connections.. why?
Doc's main off-campus interest were scholarships, travel, children's cancer charity and loads of goodwill in every direction. maybe too good a story here. Amazing career.
