Innocent people born unaware of their original sin destined for hell is not what a loving God would allow. Jesus died to clear that sin and all sins for He loved us. Maybe it's a simplistic interpretation, but it doesn't have to be complicated when you understand what the greatest form of love is and what it's capable of.
“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
