I think it could be argued that Bush wasn't supposed to beat Gore. Not that it mattered much. But I think they already had 9/11 planned. It is possible that with 8 years of Gore, their plans would have been on an accelerated timetable leading up to Obama.
One could say there is an A side and a B side. It is necessary to swing back and forth to keep the masses believing they are having an effect.

As a younger believer I used to ponder how it would be possible someday for Satan to deceive so many. You could see the crumbling of the belief systems, you could trace legal changes and their effects on education, marriage, and the family. But it was truly the internet age that allowed for the kind of mass communication / manipulation that we see happening.
At first I thought, wow this will just bring more people the truth. And I suppose it has. But it has absolutely become a Satanic tool of deception, far more powerful than TV or print that came before it. I never foresaw that it would turn into a censoring tool, or a shaming tool, or a tracing tool. So the pieces start to fit together faster and faster.
It feels like when you are getting nearer to the end of the puzzle, and the pieces are easier to find and fit. The pace quickens. We know who is holding the last piece.
