Today, we honor the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. Marines fought for freedom in below-freezing temperatures, thick snow, and perilous mountain terrain. This monumental battle truly illustrates the courage, sacrifice, and fighting spirit that lives in all Marines, and is an essential part of the history and the bigger picture of the Marine Corps.
