Anon just bought a 1994 set of Encyclopedia Britannica. Gotta start somewhere. People are letting their encyclopedias go dirt cheap. I also have a VERY THICK 'Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedic Dictionary'. These are kind of hard to find, I forget which edition it is but printed I believe in the 50's. This was my Gramps' go-to reference when I was a kid, he kept it next to his easy chair along with a big Bible and a Strong's Concordance. His was in tatters, but I found one about 20 years ago and hung onto it.
Anon is also turning back to vinyl. Will keep the CD collection too, such as it is, but I'm abandoning the digital music files. TBH I regret going in that direction 10 years ago, because not all the songs have survived various device and service upgrades. Plus these days I just don't trust anything digital, coz who knows how it has been fucked with.
