Tennis coach accused of sex crimes against children ‘under his authority’
A tennis coach has been charged with sex crimes against children ‘under his authority’ and engaging in sexual activity where he knew he’d be seen.
A Melbourne tennis coach has been charged with sex crimes against children “under his authority”.
The 57-year-old did not show up to the online filing hearing for five charges against him in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
He is facing three counts of sexually touching a child and one count of engaging in sexual activity with a child.
Police allege the Eaglemont man also “engaged in sexual activity” in circumstances where he knew he would be seen.
He most likely knew the person seeing his sexual activity would be fearful or distressed, it is alleged.
The alleged sex crimes took place in Bentleigh East, Eaglemont, and Fiji between February and August 2018, police documents tendered to the court say.
The victims were aged 16 and 17, police allege.
The man’s lawyer Vincent Azzopardi told the court on Friday that there was a “substantial” brief of evidence from police for defence to consider.
“When placed on the table it measures about a metre high,” he said.
He said the coach’s police interview went for five hours.
He was charged on November 6 this year.
A Tennis Australia spokesperson said: “as this matter is before the court we are unable to comment”.
“Providing a safe and welcoming environment for children and young people is our priority and we encourage everyone to report any incidences of wrongdoing.

In the midst of the current attack on American democracy, it is important to remember that before they tried to steal the 2020 election, the governing oligarchy sought to end Trump’s presidency by framing his National Security Advisor, General Flynn. President Trump has pardoned Flynn which itself is reason to reexamine the ridiculous set-up that led to his prosecution. Following is an excerpt from The Russia Lie, a short ebook about the phony Russia hysteria that Washington first used to target Trump.
After the 2016 election, the Washington insiders who had together orchestrated The Russia Lie switched into a cover-up, hide-the-evidence, continue-to-harm-Trump operation. Trump had been elected with the promise that he would appoint General Michael Flynn as his national Security Advisor. Flynn had publicly favored a rapprochement with Russia.
Once behind the desk with access to the government’s top-secret files, Flynn would have figured out that the FBI and CIA combined with the DNC and members of the Obama administration played political dirty tricks against Trump. The plotters’ first order of business was to destroy Flynn.
In their meeting two days after the election, President Obama forcefully told Trump not to give Flynn a role in his administration. Trump was taken aback but did not listen. He made General Flynn his National Security Advisor.
In that role during the transition, Flynn would contact foreign dignitaries and make introductions on behalf of the incoming Trump administration.
The Obama Administration needed a Plan B: Invent an international incident to entrap Flynn.
On December 27, 2016, President Obama expelled 35 Russian diplomats – including gardeners and chauffeurs – for “interfering” in the election. Flynn had a conversation with the Russian ambassador the next day and the plotters listened in via wiretap. The Obama administration wanted to see if Flynn signaled to the Russians that the Trump administration would have a different approach to foreign policy.
Under American law, it is reasonable for an incoming administration to communicate its foreign policy preferences during a transition, even if they differ from the lame duck administration. That is one of the purposes of a presidential transition. Flynn could have said, “President-elect Trump believes this Russian interference thing is a fantasy and these sanctions will be lifted on his first day in office.”

ISIS Attack In Syria’s Homs Desert Claimed Lives Of Dozens Of Syrian Soldiers
ISIS’ news agency, Amaq, announced on November 29 that the group’s terrorists had ambushed a military convoy of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the eastern Homs countryside.
The ambush took place a day earlier, west of the town of al-Sukhnah. The SAA’s convoy was targeted with a number of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), according to Amaq.
“Two battle tanks and a 4×4 vehicle were destroyed,” a source in ISIS told Amaq. “20 soldiers of the Syrian military, who were with the targeted military convoy, were also killed.
After the ambush, ISIS cells targeted two other vehicles of the SAA with heavy machine guns and an IED in the vicinity of al-Sukhnah. Amaq claims that several soldiers were killed or injured.
The terrorists likely came from the Homs desert, which lays between eastern Homs and western Deir Ezzor. The desert is infested with terrorists’ hideouts. U.S.-backed fighters based in the nearby area of al-Tanf are allegedly providing the terrorists with supplies.
A day earlier, government forces kicked off a new combing operation in southern and western Deir Ezzor to limit ISIS’ activities there.
According to a recent report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, ISIS terrorists killed at least 95 Syrian service members in the central region over the last month.
The Russian Aerospace Forces are supporting Syrian government forces operations against ISIS in the central region. However, the situation there is not improving. The group has established itself in the region, likely thanks to the support of U.S.-backed fighters.

New Wave Of Russian Airstrikes Hit Militant Positions In Southern Idlib
On November 29 morning, a new wave of Russian airstrikes targeted militants’ positions in the al-Zawiya Mount in southern Idlib.
According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit two positions near the town of Mshun. No casualties were reported as a result of the airstrikes.
Following the Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army artillery shelled a number of towns and villages in the al-Zawiya Mount.
The mountainous region is a stronghold of al-Qaeda’s Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and its allies, including the Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation. Earlier this year, reports revealed that Syrian government forces are planning a large-scale operation to capture the region.
The al-Zawiya Mount is the main gateway to the strategic M4 highway, which links the port city of Lattakia with Aleppo city, Syria’s industrial hub.
Over the last few months, Russian forces stepped up their operations against Greater Idlib militants. Earlier this week, a series of Russian airstrikes targeted militants’ positions in the northern countryside of Lattakia. This may be a sign of a near operation in the region.

Canada Blocks Drug Exports to US in Response to Trump Policy Seeking Lower Costs
As part of his 'America First Health Plan', President Donald Trump announced in September that his administration will permit the importation of prescription drugs from Canada in an effort to lower drug costs.
Canadian government officials announced that it will block the importation of prescription drugs in situations where a domestic shortage could arise, in response to a move by the US to allow Americans to bring in medicines from across the northern border.
The policy took came into effect on Friday just before the US ruling, which drug suppliers have said could cause internal shortages in Canada, according to Reuters.
“Certain drugs intended for the Canadian market are prohibited from being distributed for consumption outside of Canada if that sale would cause or worsen a drug shortage,” Health Minister Patty Hajdu said in a statement, the news outlet said.
He said that companies will now be required to "provide information to assess existing or potential shortages" on request, and "within 24 hours if there is a serious or imminent health risk".
“Canada is a small market, representing 2 percent of global drug sales, that sources 68 percent of its drugs internationally. The need for vigilance in maintaining the national drug supply continues,” Hadju said.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau pledged his support to other nations earlier this year but would prioritise domestic access to drugs.
A large US pharmaceutical lobbying organisation is also taking legal action to bring about an end to the rule, accusing the law of violating the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, Endpoints News reports.
“It is particularly disturbing that the administration is punting the responsibility for demonstrating safety and cost savings to state governments despite the clear requirement under federal law that the Secretary of HHS must certify that imported drugs both pose no additional risk to public safety and will lead to significant savings for the American consumer,” said James Stansel, general counsel for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.
The lobbying group claims that the Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar breached Section 804 of the law by maintaining importation powers in the hands of state governments.
Drug manufacturers have been the subject of widespread criticism from US politicians - including President Trump - regarding the high cost of medicines and price hikes for older drugs amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Presumptive President-elect Joe Biden has also attacked the drug prices and has suggested importing products to lower costs.

Israel to sell surplus F-16s to Canadian company for $100 million==
Defense Ministry is in negotiations to sell 29 used planes to simulate enemy forces in a deal set to be the largest sale of Israeli Air Force surplus yet
The Israeli Defense Ministry is in negotiations to sell 29 retired F-16 fighter jets to a Canadian company, Calcalist has learned. The deal is valued at $100 million, and is set to be the largest of its kind ever.
The planes are F-16 Hawks of the A/B variety, and had been in the Israeli Air Force’s possession since the 1980s, the last of which was retired from service in 2016. Planes of this variety took part in the 1981 attack on the Iraqi nuclear reactor and in the 1982 Lebanon War, but were retired from active service once more advanced versions of the F-16 came into use. The Defense Ministry’s Export Agency (SIBAT) which is responsible for selling used military equipment is overseeing the deal.
The planes will not be purchased by the Candian government, but rather by a private company called Top Aces Inc. On its website, the company has already announced that it will soon be adding F-16s to its fleet that now includes Skyhawk and Alpha jet aircraft.
Top Aces provides the Canadian Air Force, the U.S. Air Force, and the Australian Air Force aircraft that simulate enemy combat threats, also known as the “Red Force”: its aircraft and pilots imitate enemy aircraft and practice interception drills against “Blue Force,” or the military. The company also offers services to Western navies that are interested in conducting exercises that involve combating airstrikes.
The use of a private company to facilitate the transaction also cheapens the deal, since employing used planes and private pilots is cheaper than using new combat planes and operational pilots. In the 1980s, the U.S. Air Force purchased Israeli Kfir aircraft for these enemy smulations, but now uses private companies for the same operations. In 2019, the U.S. Air Force paid $6.4 million to seven private companies to provide enemy simulation services, some of whom purchased surplus Israeli Kfir and Skyhawk aircraft.
The Israeli Air Force operates the 115th Squadron as its “Red Squadron” to simulate enemy threats. It is composed of active pilots that operate older planes including some of the F16s that will be sold to the Canadian company. The squadron isn’t operational, and during emergency situations its pilots join operational squadrons in combat.

Officials raid home of Diego Maradona’s doctor, probe death as manslaughter case
Argentine investigators raided the home of Diego Maradona’s doctor on Sunday as they probe a possible case of involuntary manslaughter in the soccer legend’s death.
The blitz comes after Maradona’s lawyer last week called for a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the 60-year-old former soccer phenom, who died Wednesday after suffering a heart attack, the Mirror reported Sunday.
Investigators converged on the home of the doctor, Leopoldo Luque, 33, around 8:40 a.m. Sunday and are expected to question him as they probe possible medical negligence in Maradona’s death, the outlet said.
“As Luque was Maradona’s personal physician the decision was taken to search his house and surgery (office) to look for documents that could determine whether, during Maradona’s treatment at home, there were any irregularities,” a law enforcement source told Argentina’s La Nacion.
The soccer star’s lawyer, Matias Moria, raised questions about his death Thursday.
“The ambulance took more than half an hour to arrive, which was criminal idiocy,” he said, according to the Independent Online.
On Saturday, Maradona’s daughters — Dalma, Giannina, and Jana — spoke to investigators and also raised questions about Luque’s potential involvement in their father’s death, the Mirror reported.
Maradona’s family was already incensed after a funeral worker last week released a selfie alongside the icon’s body.
Funeral worker Claudio Fernandez was fired over the incident.
Maradona is considered one of the sport’s all-time greats, scoring 34 goals in 91 international appearances, including four World Cups.

In the Tweet, Powell linked back to a report from the American Thinker that, using detailed analysis, alleges “hanky panky” that flat-out stole the state from President Trump in the early morning hours of November 4th. According to the Thinker’s article, as Trump votes rolled in in shocking numbers, election officials in Virginia – whose state-level government is now solidly under Democrat control – created, out of thin air, about 479,337 votes for Joe Biden, all the while ‘losing’ Trump votes (to avoid the 300% voter turnout figures seen in other states), handing Virginia’s 13 Electoral College votes over to the Biden-Harris ticket.
“Remember, earlier in the evening of November 3 Trump had a huge lead of 500,000-plus votes which the crooks had to eliminate; thus between 11:14 and 11:43 they created an enormous, out-of-thin-air surge of almost a half-million votes for Biden which, at 11:33 PM on November 3, suddenl1y flipped the lead in the race from Trump to Biden.
But this fraudulent maneuver had two problems. First, it was hard to believe, a sudden vote swing of 4.5% in just 8 minutes; and second, those half-million fake Biden votes might show more ‘votes’ cast than there were registered voters to cast them, making the fraud immediately obvious. So the crooks had to lower the overall vote total to bring it more into line with the 2016 and prior presidential elections.”
As I’ve previously reported for National File, in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, with roughly 85% of the vote tallied, President Trump and Republican challenger for Congress Nick Freitas each led their respective races by healthy margins, before the miraculous discovery of nearly 15,000 votes stored on a thumb drive. After the miracle votes were counted, Democrat incumbent Abigail Spanberger edged out Freitas and claimed victory, thanks to over 70% of the drive-stored votes breaking for Democrats.
Additionally, several other reports have drawn Virginia’s election results into question, including a November 15th report from The Gateway Pundit alleging that “there are multiple reasons why the Virginia results in the 2020 Presidential election should be questioned.”

Joe Biden Gun Control Proposal Could Bankrupt Firearms Industry
Former Vice President Joe Biden’s plan to do away with the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) could bankrupt the entire firearms industry.
President George W. Bush signed the PLCAA into law in 2005 as a way of protecting firearms manufacturers from frivolous lawsuits. But Biden campaigned on opening up firearm manufacturers to suits tied to the criminal misuse of the products they make.
On February 7, 2020, Breitbart News reported Biden telling a New Hampshire audience it was a “mistake” to give “gun manufacturers … a loophole that does not allow them to be sued for the carnage they are creating.”
He added, “The first thing I’m going to do as president is work to get rid of that, and it’s going to be hard.”
On February 24, 2020, Breitbart News reported that Biden looked into the camera during a South Carolina speech, called out gun manufacturers, and said, “I’m going to take you down.”
The PLCAA shields gun manufacturers from lawsuits in situations where the guns in question were legally made and legally sold. Biden wants those protections eliminated.
During an October 2019 gun control forum in Las Vegas Biden claimed opening gun makers up to lawsuits would result in “change overnight.”
The Daily Caller spoke with Missouri self-defense lawyer and firearms trainer Kevin Jamison about Biden’s plans, and he made clear that firearms manufacturers would enter a financial tailspin if Biden has his way. Jamison said, “The guys pushing these lawsuits, they don’t care if they win. They care if they can force these companies to hemorrhage money. They are in the business of putting gun companies out of business.”
Jamison added, “If they destroy enough companies or force them to adopt their rules of procedure then there will be no place to buy guns and that’s what they’re looking for. They want to make it as expensive to own a gun as humanly possible — and as difficult. If they get even part of their wish list, they won.”
It must be noted that other gun control measures Biden has proposed would put financial pressure on gun owners. In fact, his taxation plans for AR-15s, AK-47s, and “high capacity” magazines — a $200 tax on each such privately owned rifle and a $200 tax on every privately owned “high capacity” magazine — could cost gun owners $34 billion.

Pandemic Nightmare Returns. Supply Chains Stressed, Leading to Empty Store Shelves
With governors clamping down and closing their states due to increased coronavirus positive tests and deaths, some consumers are apparently worried they will never, ever be able to purchase toilet paper again and are stocking up until the next millennia, “just in case.” The result is empty shelves at the grocery store. And supply chains are breaking under the strain.
Others are concerned they’ll never see another piece of chicken or grill another steak and are emptying meat departments. And with the evil virus on the loose, keeping your house clean to prevent the beast from taking up residence requires a lifetime supply of disinfectant and floor wax.
Sorry, but I don’t feel the panic. Now that you mention it, I could use a couple of supersized packages of TP, and can you throw in a half-dozen 18-roll packages of paper towels too?
That is, if you can find it. The first of the hoarders were panic shoppers. But then came the smart shoppers who saw the signs and intelligently purchased 150 rolls of TP because, well, if not them, then whom?
I hope some clever sociologist is taking notes and will tell us all about it when it’s over. It’s been absolutely fascinating to watch.
Across the food and grocery industry, the holidays are starting to resemble the panic of the pandemic spring, when the supply chain was stressed and businesses were teetering. This time around, grocers say the limits are proactive measures, rather than a sign of looming shortages. Still, photos of empty store shelves have again started cropping up online — a sign that the country’s food industry is still on edge as worried customers snap up more toilet paper and milk than they may need.
“We are hearing of retailers putting limits [on] certain goods, but this is a temporary tactic to curb demand,” said Heather Garlich, senior vice president at FMI, the food industry association formerly known as the Food Marketing Institute.
Why buy milk that will spoil before you can drink it? I guess that’s why they call it “panic buying.”
Retailers are putting a brave face on it, but the empty shelves tell us the real story. My Kroger store looked like it had been looted. Even canned goods like vegetables, fruit, and soup had been picked over by scavengers. The meat department looked like some nightmare version of a Soviet market from the 1980s.
The cleaners aisle had huge gaps where some products were entirely sold out. People aren’t panicked about losing electricity, but there was no frozen pizza and some frozen breakfast food was very low.
Seeing empty shelves is very disconcerting. You wouldn’t expect something like that in a great big grown-up country like the United States. But we will never become immune to the human condition. And that is at the root of this unreasoning buying spree.

Liberal Party tries to normalise corruption with a scandalous statement from NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has publicly stated that her corrupt conduct in spending $250 million to pork-barrel the 2019 state election was not illegal. Maybe that is true but it highly likely that her office staff shredding evidence is illegal especially given they knew there were court cases involving councils and that the shredded evidence might be subpoenaed for the court cases.
Pork barrelling is defined as ” “The term “pork‐barrel politics” refers to instances in which ruling parties channel public money to particular constituencies based on political considerations, at the expense of broader public interests”. Pork barrelling is in effect stealing from one taxpayer that you know won’t vote for your political party and giving it to another taxpayer so they will vote for your political party. Both Prime Minister Scott Morrison and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, who are members of the Liberal Party, have been exposed this year for personally being up to their necks in pork barrelling and both have lied in parliament and to the public about their involvement.

Gladys Berejiklian’s office has recovered copies of shredded documents at the centre of a pork barrelling inquiry, revealing the Premier’s staff directly determined projects to be funded under the controversial $250 million council grants program.
The recovery of the documents, seen by the Herald, comes after the Premier’s office faced months of pressure over the program, including over a failure to produce signed paperwork.
Her office has since come under further scrutiny after it was revealed crucial documents relating to the council grants had been shredded or deleted.
Senior policy adviser Sarah Lau told a parliamentary inquiry last month that she shredded the notes and deleted electronic records as part of her usual document management processes.

Firefighters manage over 60 fires across New South Wales
Firefighters will be working to gain the upper hand against more than 60 fires still burning across New South Wales.
A southerly change last night eased conditions and no fires pose an immediate danger to homes or lives.
Hot and dry winds fanned flames on Sunday and Fire and Rescue confirmed one property had been damaged in Sydney's west.
Fire danger is expected to increase on Tuesday as temperatures rise again.

Ukrainian journalist attacked on air, channel called ‘fascist’ at memorial for Soviet-era famine victims
A violent confrontation broke out in Kiev on Saturday after a reporter from Ukraine’s News One network was accosted at a memorial commemorating those who died in the 1930s Soviet famine.
In shocking footage, Violetta Tovkes had her microphone knocked to the ground by an unknown man as she was broadcasting live on air. He then proceeded to shout at her and can be heard accusing the channel of being “fascist.” The man also broke a mourning candle the reporter had been holding.
In a statement over the weekend, the channel called for police to take action, saying that “such an egregious fact of physical violence against a journalist requires immediate intervention.”

Caitlin Johnstone: Oligarchic imperialism is the new dominant world religion
In centuries gone by, anyone who failed to adhere to the established dominant religion would be labeled and cast out, barred from positions of importance. Today, history is repeating itself; it’s only the names that have changed.
I was just watching a gaggle of blue-checkmarked narrative managers attack progressive commentators Katie Halper and Briahna Joy Gray on Twitter for platforming antiwar journalist Rania Khalek on the grounds that Khalek is an 'Assadist', which is imperialist for 'someone who opposes Western imperialism in Syria'.
At no point do any of these narrative managers bother to address the actual things these women were discussing together, or why anything Khalek was saying in their video conference was wrong. They do not feel the need to do such a thing, because they have this label, 'Assadist', which they can pin on one of the speakers and thereby reject one hundred percent of her work and one hundred percent of the people who give her a platform from which to speak. They feel no need to address the arguments, because they have a label which they all agree means they can completely un-person someone who opposes Western regime change agendas in a specific region.
There are many such labels that are used to exclude people from positions of influence and power for simply disagreeing with the official doctrine of status quo oligarchic imperialism in any way. 'Assadist' is one of them; it allows someone to be completely marginalized from platforms of significant influence, without anyone ever needing to admit that they’re simply depriving anyone of a platform who criticized the way the US power alliance used proxy armies and propaganda campaigns in a campaign to topple Damascus. 'Kremlin asset' is another, as are 'conspiracy theorist', 'tankie', or '[insert imperialism-targeted leader] apologist'.
Oligarchic imperialism is the new dominant world religion. It is the scripture that everyone reads from. It is what shapes our culture. It is what holy wars are fought over and acts of terrorism committed for. It’s what power is built around. It’s what you’re branded a heretic for rejecting. It’s just as fake as any other religion, just as crafted toward the advantage of the powerful as any other religion, and just as dependent upon blind faith in insubstantial narratives as any other religion. But it lets its adherents feel smug and superior to people who believe in those primitive older religions.
Adherents of the old dominant religion used to read the Bible; adherents of the new dominant religion read the New York Times. Adherents of the old dominant religion used to go to church on Sunday; adherents of the new dominant religion go to Hollywood movies. Adherents of the old dominant religion fought in the crusades; adherents of the new dominant religion kill families with drones and Tomahawk missiles overseas. Adherents of the old dominant religion used to burn heretics at the stake; adherents of the new dominant religion imprison journalists and deplatform 'Assadists', 'Putin apologists', and 'conspiracy theorists' so their ideas don’t infect the rest of the flock.

NYC pub takes defiant stand against Gov. Cuomo, declares itself 'autonomous zone' from lockdown restrictions
'I will not back down'
A Staten Island restaurant has declared itself an "autonomous zone" that is free from Gov. Andrew Cuomo's business-killing coronavirus restrictions.
Beginning Nov. 20, Mac's Public House, owned by Danny Presti and Keith McAlarney, said they would not abide by restrictions enacted by Cuomo or New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Their defiant stance came just days before new restrictions hit the area where Mac's is located, which includes a ban on indoor dining at bars and restaurants, according to the New York Post.
The declaration that Mac's is now an "autonomous zone" pays homage to the "Capital Hill Autonomous Zone," which far-left radicals established in Seattle in June.
A sign outside Mac's now reads:
!ATTENTION! We hereby declare this establishment an !!!AUTONOMOUS ZONE!!! We refuse to abide by any rules and regulations put forth by the Mayor of NYC and Governor of NY State.
For their defiance, Mac's has been "slapped with thousands of dollars in fines, a shut-down order from the state Health Department and the Friday revocation of its liquor license by the State Liquor Authority," according to the Post.
But those consequences have not deterred Mac's owners.
In a YouTube video, Presti explained the sheriff's department is issuing his restaurant $1,000 fines, but said, "at this point, we're OK with it, because we're not paying it."
To circumvent their business licenses being revoked, Presti said they are allowing patrons to eat and drink for free — while asking them for donations to stay afloat.
Meanwhile, McAlarney challenged Cuomo and "De Bozo" — a reference to de Blasio — to personally come to Mac's to revoke their licenses.
"We're not backing down. You think you scared me by…saying I don't have a license now to serve liquor now? Well guess what? That liquor license is on the wall. If that liquor license is gonna come off the wall, it's gonna be done by Cuomo. You wanna come down here and pull that license off the wall?" McAlarney said.
He continued, "Or De Bozo, you want to come down here and pull the license off the wall? Feel free to end up comin' down, and we'll end up having a conversation before you even think about stepping foot on my property. I will not back down."
However, keeping the restaurant's doors opened does not mean Presti and McAlarney are being unwise. In fact, they are taking significant COVID-related precautions.
"We will still wear masks, take the same safety precautions we've had in place, maintain daily cleanings and work in a responsible manner to the best of our abilities," the owners told the Staten Island Advance.
But, Presti explained, "What we will not be doing is living in fear. By fear, we mean the constant threat of our local city and state governments sending agencies in to check up, fine and threaten to shut us down. Every day small businesses are living in fear, not just of this virus, but that our governments will take our livelihoods away, even as we're being safe."
