On July 13, 2018, Dominion Voting was acquired by US Dominion, Inc. US Dominion, Inc.’s ownership is comprised of Staple Street Capital Management L.P. (“SSC”), which owns a controlling interest, as well as the Dominion Voting Systems, Inc. management team.

Founded in 2009, Staple Street Capital is a private equity firm based in New York, New York. The firm’s typical transaction types include management-led buyouts, corporate divestitures, acquisitions of family-owned businesses, take-private transactions, reorganizations and recapitalizations. It prefers to invest in automotive, business services, chemicals, media, technology, retail, logistics, energy, healthcare, manufacturing and financial services sectors.

We now know Dominion Voting Systems (DVS) is owned by Staple Street Capital.

Who owns Staple Street Capital?

Staple Street Capital has ties with Carlyle Group, which is also known for recruiting ex-politicians such as George Bush and James Baker, John Major, one-time World Bank treasurer Afsaneh Masheyekhi, and several south-east Asian powerbrokers. The company holds a number of different entities.

Carlyle Group is managed by a team of former US Gov personnel including its president Frank Carlucci, former deputy director of the CIA before becoming Defense Sec. His deputy is James Baker 3, who was US Sec of State under Bush sr.

6 days after officially quitting Pentagon, 1-6-89, Frank Carlucci became Carlyles Dir Gen. He brought lieutenants from CIA, State Dept, and the Defense Dept with him.

I found this to be rather interesting too. Former Carlyle Group & Cerberus Cap execs now part of Staple Street Capital.
