I'm on a really weird dig and I don't know if I am just getting led to fantasy land or something real.

My objective was to find republicans that may vote opposite of what we may think if a vote went to local legislature or congress. What I found was a story about a school called Baypoint. What is being inferred is that the students were tasked in the late 90's to write a program that would sway elections. The story goes that those kids ended up dead. Have any of ya'll seen or heard of any of this?
