There is NO PROVIDER at Delaware Orthopedic Specialists by the name of Dr. Kevin O'Connor
https://www.delortho.com/providers/
I also checked the NPI Registry and was unable to locate a provider named Kevin O'Connor in Delaware. (i tried WITH O'Connor and w/o OConnor)
https://npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov/registry/search-results-table?first_name=KEVIN&last_name=OCONNOR&state=DE&addressType=ANY
Also, if you wanted additional visualization of tendons/ligaments you would want an MRI. This would also show bone disruptions. A CT Scan is just a modified Xray, 3D, computerized, but Xray.
interesting. In the article it suggested that Dr. Kevin O'Connor was a member of Delaware Orthopedic Specialists.
National NPI search reveals only a Urologist in the DC vicinity with a Virginia address.
also, in the State of Maryland, there are no actively licensed physicians with that name. Md Board of Physician Quality Assurance shows that the Urologist KEVIN PAUL O'CONNOR MD (not DO) (listed on the NPI page) expired 9/30/17
and
Kevin Michael O'Connor MD (not DO) listed on NPI as the Emergency Medicine doc from NC ALSO expired 9/30/2017
and the other
ok, but why doesn't he have an NPI? This was required by CMS of ALL providers in 2005
