Catholics have been vocal about Biden being denied Communion at Mass because of his longstanding support of abortion.

Washington D.C. archbishop (now Cardinal) Wilton Gregory said that as vice president, Biden received Communion. Gregory is going to allow that to continue. (Giving Joe a pass.)

But wait, there's more. . .

After signing Executive Order on June 2, 2020 promoting religious freedom worldwide, President Trump and the First Lady visited the national Catholic shrine to coincide with the E.O. on religious freedom.

Archbishop Gregory condemned the president's visit and made this comment:

"I find it baffling and reprehensible that any Catholic facility would allow itself to be so egregiously misused and manipulated in a fashion that violates our religious principles, which call us to defend the rights of all people even those with whom we might disagree…"

What wasn't widely reported by the media was that Archbishop Gregory declined a White House invitation to attend the event. Maybe if he did attend, he would not have made such a hasty uniformed comment.
