Dogs are loyal in general.
Trained dogs do what they're told by their masters.
Trained dogs know how to sit & stay, they know how to come, they know how to fetch, they know how to speak.
They also know how to roll over.
Sometimes, when they get in the trash, you can bop them on the nose with a newspaper and they'll fall in line again.
IMO dogs are comms for 'controlled individual'.

I have foggy memories of others doing it, but if we can point to who has done it, maybe we can make sense of what it means.
We know they call us cattle and sheep.
That's easy because cattle and sheep are easy to herd.
