This has no source because it took hours of clinking links after link to make a connection.

It started with the Titanic >sister ship RMS AtlanticSunk in Halifax in 1873> 535 died 371 lived. 156 women (ALL) 189 children (ALL but one) died and all married men died. Only single men survived.

The child John Hindley was 10. Put his birth year at about 1863, John Scott Hindley was the child of John Hindley and Caroline Scott. John Sr was born 1828 in Tyldesley, England. His wife was Jane Charters Robinson (LDS pioneer) was one of the first 50 to settle Salt Lake City.

They were using the RMS Atlantic and probably others to ship across the ocean in steerage. The White Star Line built ships in Belfast, Ireland.

NoName said to have died in Cornville, AZ. Cornville also listed as Mormon Crossing.

I found both John T. Caine and Joseph Cain in the Mormon family names but haven't delved in yet. Both were from the Isle of Mann in the 1820's.

I could use help documenting it, if anyone wants something to research.

One woman dressed as crew washed ashore which made me wonder how many others were trying to hide the same way. She'd been posing for at 3 years as crew.
