My take is the Iranian guy was in contact wirh an American who was tracked. My guess is it was Brennan, going by his knee-jerk tweet telling Iran to wait for Biden.
Same MO as the rumors of Pelosi leading to al Baghdadi and Kerry to Soleimani.
