When everything is exposed, and my grown liberal son who thinks I'm an idiot finds out that I was telling the truth, I'm not going to say, "I told you so" but I might say, "I tried to tell you"

I'm not thinking of it as "a gotcha". I'm thinking of it as a how will we proceed to discuss what is happening. Up until now, all he has done is argue with me, so I basically gave up red pilling him. I just plant a seed here & there and try to keep the peace. We actually have a good relationship in spite of our political differences. I think he is just influenced by his friends/peer pressure to fit in, etc. He has to wake up someday, and I am trying to play through it in my mind how to handle that.
As far as his eternal salvation, I raised him to be a Christian, but ultimately his faith is between him and God. All I can do now is pray for him.
