The semantics of "socialism/communism" won't sit well worldwide. There are normal, free and sane people who semantically think of themselves as "socialists" because living on another part of the planet has different customs of thinking.
Read my post again. There is a big difference between worshipping a communist manifesto and simply being raised in a post-socialist country.

I can't change my fellow humans' attitude, and I've certainly tried. Try conversing with someone with strong sleeper sentiments. Many people are still like that.
