Some insight on DHS GS-1811’s and FBEye GS-1811… no love lost between the two agencies. FeeBees are arrogant “Thy shit don’t stinkith” special agents. DHS ICE is made up of legacy Border Patrol, Customs & ASU (Anti-Smuggling Unit Pre-Patriot Act) with an elephants memory of the times FeeBees screwed over Customs, Border Patrol and ICE agents. They will work with FBEye but there’s no trust nor respect.
The biased DHS that you speak of could be lumped in with DOJ or FBEye at the HQ SES level but not at the field level.
