The thing about no deals, if true in the background, if asked for - is that Trump forced them to be as bad as they could get.
It was a taunt in a way. No declassification of main incriminating material for four years (one presumes that deals would have included a demand that no classified info ever goes public.)
The No Deal scenario promises no such thing but gives them the four years to do their very best to oust him.
If they won, they come in and tidy up shop quickly. If they lose, they not only have shown themselves for what they'd really are, they have no Non-disclosure deal, and retribution on its way.
But in a way… what they conceal must be so bad that they had no option but to go for broke
