It's complicated. It started on 22 October. Then the Constitutional Tribunal issued a ruling which practically prohibited abortion in Poland… Large-scale protests began. Violence and tear gas are used against the protesters (women, teenagers, jurnalists, opposition politicians). There are detentions, people responsible for organizing the protests are being chased."
