Qanon is not Q_ANON.
Q is the monocle focusing anon research.
Hence Q_ANON.
A distinction without a difference except to anons.
The uninformed public would recognize neither.
The point is to get them here, to see for themselves.
For my part, I prefer the separation of Q from anons for the reasons you've stated, but I don't think telling other anons they can't do something will be any more successful than herding cats.
Or perhaps PDT doesn't want a goverment investigation (who trusts them?) but a Patriot citizen one.
