Back in the 1980s I personally knew an Army Lt who "officially" was injured in "a jeep accident" (In Panama).
Reality = He was wounded in combat (In Nicaragua).
Oh, but we didn't have troops in Nicaragua at the time.
And they certainly weren't engaged in fire fights.
Right?
