This is the exact reason I want to know if Joe Biden accepted or rejected his intelligence briefings. Info like this would basically force him to take certain actions if given in a briefing. I bet he rejected the briefings and the media isn't reporting it. They always make a big deal of the incoming (a joke in this case) President taking or not taking the briefings.
