The missing texts were December 2016 to May 2017. It's obvious to assume this is about Trump but could it instead have been considering martyring Obama to cause chaos and prevent Trump's inauguration. If, say, Biden had been sworn in as President in an emergency would the rules have allowed him to have a full term?
