Part two of the story of Jesus and the Donkeys

 

Jesus now had the White, the pale and one black donkey. He would have to go back to get the other two, which he planned to do very soon.

 

Success! Jesus is able to capture both the red and second black donkey to add to their herd. Jesus and Mary are delighted they will be able to begin work on their new farm immediately.

 

Jesus and Mary lived in a small community. Everybody knew everybody else and the community happenings. As it turned out a member of the community recognized the new red donkey Jesus had just purchased and said “did you know that red donkey is the sire to the White donkey. Jesus was amazed. But it gets better, he went on to say that the pale donkey is the mother of the White donkey. They were a family and nobody knew it. Isn’t that great. What a nice trio they made. No wonder the red and White donkey were so protective of the small pale female donkey.

 

Time passed and the red donkey ended up with a different owner, within the same community as Jesus and Mary, but down the road a ways. The red donkey eventually sired (not with the pale donkey but another female donkey in the community) a beautiful blonde donkey. She was the fairest in the land. It was not long before a nice gentleman donkey noticed her in passing through her community. This nice gentleman donkey returned home, but could not forget the beautiful blonde female donkey he had seen. He would frequently break out of his corral and run back to her community to see her. This was much to the dismay of his owners as they were from a higher class community and did not look kindly at their donkey going to the community with the blonde donkey.

 

Eventually the owners of the love struck donkey gave up and sold him to the owners of the beautiful blonde donkey. The red donkey, the blonde donkey and the new gentleman donkey were now at the same barn. They really made a nice trio. All were very happy together
