EU’s Coronavirus Christmas Rules: No Communal Singing, Televised Church Only

The European Commission has released a set of Christmas Wuhan coronavirus guidelines including a proposal to ban communal singing.

The Commission guidelines were released on Wednesday and included lists of “recommended actions for member states” which instruct countries to look after vulnerable people such as the disabled, the mentally ill, or homeless, as well as set criteria for small social gatherings.

The guidelines also state that EU nations should “consider not allowing any mass gatherings” and said that anyone engaged in social events during the Christmas season should be forced to self-quarantine before and after the event for a recommended seven days.

For Christmas ceremonies and services, the Commission recommends that they be done online or through radio or television broadcast and that communal singing should be banned.

“In case of ceremonies, consider avoiding large services or using online, TV or radio broadcasts, allocating specific spots for close families (‘household bubbles’) to sit together, and banning of communal singing. The use of masks is particularly relevant during these types of gatherings,” the guidelines say.

During the outbreak of the Wuhan coronavirus in March, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen attempted to keep the internal border of the bloc open while many countries enacted their own border controls.

The Christmas regulations state that “any measures restricting free movement to protect public health must be proportionate and non-discriminatory, and must be lifted as soon as the epidemiological situation allows”.

“Whilst travel itself is a risk factor, the generalised widespread transmission of COVID-19 across the Member States means that at present, intra-EU cross-border travel does not present a significant added risk,” the guideline adds.

The Commission also acknowledges what it calls “pandemic fatigue” among the citizens of member states and said at least 60 per cent of countries are experiencing some form of fatigue with people becoming tired of lockdowns, social distancing, and economic restrictions.

Many countries have announced various measures over the Christmas period, with some, such as the UK, saying that lockdown measures would be eased for five days to allow people to celebrate Christmas with their families, but potentially at the cost of another lockdown.

The interior minister of Belgium, meanwhile, told citizens to expect knocks on doors from police on Christmas if they were suspected of violating lockdown measures.

164 Pounds of Meth Seized from Passenger Vehicle at Texas Border Crossing

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized nearly 165 pounds of methamphetamine from a passenger vehicle attempting to cross the border from Mexico into South Texas.

CBP officers assigned to the Anzalduas International Bridge near Mission, Texas, observed a Chevy Suburban approaching from Mexico for entry into the United States on November 30. Officers selected the Suburban for a secondary inspection, according to information obtained from Office of Field Operations officials.

A search with a non-intrusive imaging system revealed anomalies leading officers to carry out a physical search of the SUV. During the physical search, officers found 24 packages filled with drugs hidden in the tires of the Suburban. Officials reported the drugs to be methamphetamine. The shipment weighed 164 pounds, officials stated. They placed the estimated street value of the contraband at more than $3.2 million.

“Our officers intercepted these hard narcotics due to great observational techniques and the commitment to the CBP mission of keeping dangerous drugs out of our communities,” said Port Director Carlos Rodriguez, Port of Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas in a written statement.

CBP officers seized a record quantity of methamphetamine during Fiscal Year 2020 which ended on September 30, according to the latest CBP Enforcement Statistics report. The seizure of 156,901 pounds of methamphetamine at ports of entry into the United States represents an increase of more than 23 percent over FY19 and more than 153 percent over FY18.

During the first month of FY21, CBP officers seized an additional 21,203 pounds of the illicit drug.

Fentanyl seizures are also way up for the fifth year in a row. Seizures jumped from 2,575 pounds in FY19 to 3,967 pounds in FY2020. During the first month of FY21, officers seized more than 1,000 pounds of the deadly drug.

Compulsory Vaccine Totalitarianism – No Longer a Crazy Conspiracy Theory…

Wild jubilation has greeted the announcement that the United Kingdom is to become the first country to roll out a Chinese coronavirus vaccine. Personally, I’m not celebrating.

You really don’t need to be a conspiracy theorist to have reservations about a rush-released vaccine. Just listen to the British government’s own experts, who warned on Wednesday that due to a lack of testing, it couldn’t be guaranteed that it would be safe for women who are already pregnant or plan to be in the medium-term, so they shouldn’t be encouraged to get vaccinated until more data was available.

Or Dr. Michael Yeadon and Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, who have written to the European Medicines Agency, citing safety concerns for human trials and saying they should be halted immediately until these issues could be addressed.

Yes, Yeadon was head of respiratory research at the very company — Pfizer — responsible for the first vaccine to be used on the British population. Wodarg, meanwhile, is the former head of a public health department in Germany. So their concerns about the vaccine can hardly be dismissed as the work of cranks.

Among the potential side-effects, they warn, are the formation of ‘non-neutralising antibodies’ which can cause an exaggerated, and possibly lethal, immune reaction – especially when the test person is confronted after vaccination with the real, ‘wild’ virus. There is also a risk of ‘infertility of indefinite duration’ in vaccinated women; and the possibility of fatal allergic reactions to polyethylene glycol (PEG) which is used in the mRNA vaccines from BioNTech/Pfizer.

Perhaps the biggest worry about this vaccine is that it may be made compulsory. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has insisted that there are no government plans to force people to take the vaccine. But Vaughan Gething, the ‘Health Minister’ of the hard-left Welsh ‘government’ has already jumped the gun on this by launching health ID cards in Wales.

Mr Gething said: “Those receiving a COVID-19 vaccination will be given a credit card-sized NHS Wales immunisation card which will have the vaccine name, date of immunisation and batch number of each of the doses given handwritten on them.”

“These will act as a reminder for a second dose and for the type of vaccine, and it will also give information about how to report side effects,” he added.

This has understandably raised fears that vaccines are going to be made compulsory through the back door. The UK government’s Vaccine Minister Nadhim Zahawi has already hinted at this. Earlier this week, he said that some venues or businesses might insist on proof of vaccination before allowing customers entry.

‘You’ll probably find restaurants and bars and cinemas and other venues – sports venues – will probably also use that system as they’ve done with the app,’ Mr Zahawi told the BBC.

In other words, even if the government does stick to its promise not to make ‘immunity passports’ a condition of being a free citizen, it may be relying on sympathetic businesses to do its dirty work for it.

Certain airlines – including Australia’s Qantas – have already indicated they are considering compulsory vaccination as a condition of travel.

Hence the concerned intervention in parliament during the tier/lockdown debate this week by Steve Baker MP during a speech by fellow Conservative lockdown sceptic Desmond Swayne MP.

U.S. Feds Seize 800 Pounds of Cocaine from Armed Smugglers in Caribbean Sea

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations aircrew teamed up with Coast Guard vessels to interdict a drug smuggling operation in the Caribbean Sea near the coast of Puerto Rico, officials stated.

During a nighttime patrol on the evening of November 23, a CBP AMO aircrew spotted a wooden vessel running without lights approaching Arecibo, Puerto Rico, according to information obtained from Air and Marine Operations officials. The airborne agents contacted the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Tezanos and a USCG Small Interceptor to interdict the “yola” type wooden vessel.

As the Coast Guard approached, two men jumped out of the boat in an attempt to avoid apprehension, officials stated. When the Coast Guard stopped the boat, they found one person left on board. The boat was hauling 13 bales of drugs. The other two men were retrieved from the water.

Officials identified the drugs as cocaine, the report continues. The 816 pounds of cocaine has an estimated street value of $10 million.

“Transnational criminal organizations attempt to smuggle narcotics in different locations throughout our island testing our resolve,” stated Johnny Morales, Director, Air and Marine Operations for the Caribbean Air and Marine Branch, in a written statement. “Our agents continue to use advanced aeronautical and maritime capabilities to detect and interdict them throughout our coastal borders.”

The Coast Guard crew arrested the three Dominican nationals and transported them to Arecibo for processing. Caribbean Corridor Strike Force agents took custody of the drugs and the alleged smugglers.

“This successful interdiction is the result of the hard work and dedication of the all the federal and state partners committed to eliminate illicit trafficking from the waters of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands,” stated CAPT Jose E. Diaz- Deputy Commander. “Keeping dangerous drugs off the streets save lives; today, Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, and FURA crews saved lives.”

During Fiscal Year 2020, which ended on September 30, AMO air and boat crews participated in the seizure of 113,256 pounds of cocaine. During October, agents seized another 9,177 pounds of cocaine, according to a report from CBP officials.

ICE, federal agents seize $3.5 million in cash and drugs at truck yard in Otay Mesa

Believed to be largest single seizure of cash, narcotics and ammunition in San Diego history

SAN DIEGO – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents worked with other federal agents to bring down three Mexican nationals suspected of trafficking huge quantities of illicit drugs for the Sinaloa Cartel. They were charged in federal court Nov. 24 in connection with what is believed to be the largest single cumulative seizure of cash, narcotics and ammunition discovered in this district. The seizure included approximately $3.5 million in bulk U.S. currency, 685 kilograms of cocaine, 24 kilograms of fentanyl and approximately 20,000 rounds of .50 caliber ammunition and hundreds of body armor vests at a truck yard in Otay Mesa, which is in the city of San Diego, California.

Jesus Burgos Arias, Juan Alatorre Venegas, and Jose Yee Perez were arrested on Nov. 20, 2020, as a result of a broader long-term joint investigation led by Homeland Security Investigations, Drug Enforcement Administration, the San Diego Sheriff’s Department, San Diego Police Department, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California, targeting associates of the Sinaloa Cartel. The defendants were charged with a drug trafficking conspiracy in a complaint filed in federal court. This prosecution is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigation.

“This seizure is significant not just because of its size, but because it demonstrates the direct correlation between narcotics, illicit money, and guns that drives violence in our communities and destroys lives,” said Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) Special Agent in Charge Cardell T. Morant. “We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners and prosecutors to aggressively pursue the Sinaloa Cartel and other transnational criminal organizations.”

The case is part of a 5-year investigation led by the Southern District of California, that, in total, has resulted in charges against over 125 people and has had a significant impact on the worldwide operations of the Sinaloa Cartel. This investigation has also offered one of the most comprehensive views to date of the inner workings of one of the world’s most prolific, violent and powerful drug cartels. Cartel members and associates were targeted in this massive investigation involving multiple countries, numerous law enforcement agencies around the United States, a number of federal districts and over 250 court-authorized wiretaps in this district alone.

“This historic seizure and prosecution is a clear indication of the success of our joint investigative efforts,” said U.S. Attorney Robert Brewer. “To eradicate this threat to San Diego and our partners in the Republic of Mexico, we will continue to aggressively attack the Sinaloa Cartel’s drug smuggling, money laundering, and arms smuggling operations – depriving them of their illegal merchandise, their profits and a safe haven.” Brewer praised prosecutor Matthew J. Sutton and the federal and local agents and officers for their excellent work on this case.

The investigation first began in late 2011 as a probe of what was at first believed to be a small-scale drug distribution cell in National City and Chula Vista. It became evident that the drugs were being supplied by the Sinaloa Cartel, and the case evolved into a massive multinational, multi-state probe that resulted in scores of arrests and seizures of 1,397 kilograms of methamphetamine, 2,214 kilograms of cocaine, 17.2 tons of marijuana, 95.84 kilograms of heroin and $27,892,706 in narcotics proceeds.

Coronavirus vaccine: Pfizer given protection from legal action by UK government

The UK government has granted pharmaceutical giant Pfizer a legal indemnity protecting it from being sued, enabling its coronavirus vaccine to be rolled out across the country as early as next week.

The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed the company has been given an indemnity protecting it from legal action as a result of any problems with the vaccine.

Ministers have also changed the law in recent weeks to give new protections to companies such as Pfizer, giving them immunity from being sued by patients in the event of any complications.

NHS staff providing the vaccine, as well as manufacturers of the drug, are also protected.

At least 50 explosions in 9 hours at Telica volcano, Nicaragua

An uptick in activity has been observed at the Nicaraguan Telica volcano on Monday, November 30, 2020, with low-level ash emission and dozens of explosions at regular rates. Ashfall was reported in nearby communities, including El Panal, Cristo Rey, Los Cocos, and Los Ángeles​.

At least 50 explosions were recorded within 9 hours on November 30, with a maximum height of ash between 100 and 400 m (330 - 1 300 feet) above the crater. This is about 1.5 km (5 000 feet) above sea level.

"This activity is part of the normal behavior of an active volcano and it is very likely that similar explosions will occur in the next few days," the Nicaraguan Institute for Territorial Studies (INETER) said.

Volcanic ash emissions ended by 06:34 UTC on Tuesday, December 1, and resumed at around 12:41 UTC on the same day.

At 18:31 UTC, the Washington VAAC reported constant ash emissions, moving SW from the summit.

This activity continued through the rest of the day and into December 2, although no ash was visible early Wednesday due to meteorological cloud cover.

No incandescence was observed on the webcam. However, given the recent activity level, volcanic ash emission is certainly possible, Washington VAAC noted in their advisory issued 05:39 UTC today.

Sidney Powell’s Election Lawsuit in Georgia Gets Expedited Appeal

A federal appeals court agreed on Wednesday to expedite the appeal in a case brought by lawyer Sidney Powell against election officials in Georgia.

A judge on Sunday blocked election officials from wiping or altering Dominion Voting Systems machines in three counties, but Powell was seeking a statewide order, prompting her to seek an emergency appeal from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

The appeals court on Dec. 2 granted the emergency appeal, ordering plaintiffs to file their initial brief by midnight and defendants to file their response by midnight on Dec. 4. Plaintiffs can file a response to the response by midnight on Dec. 6.

The initial brief wasn’t listed on the docket as of early Thursday. Plaintiffs later filed two affidavits and an expert report from Matthew Braynard.

A Dec. 4 hearing scheduled in front of the lower court judge who made the initial ruling was postponed in light of the appeals court order.

Also on Wednesday night, the Democratic Party of Georgia entered an emergency request to grant an intervention so they can participate in the appeal. The party is being represented by Washington firm Perkins Coie, a longtime Democrat-linked company. The request was granted on Thursday.

Powell is representing about a dozen voters who argue there was a fraudulent scheme to manipulate the vote count to make sure Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden won Georgia.

Powell is seeking to have outside experts examine Dominion machines. Georgia election officials are attempting to prevent that from happening.

The case is Pearson v. Kemp, 1:20-cv-04809.

McInerney lays out strategy to defeat deep-state coup plotters

Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney [U.S. Air Force Retired] said in a no-holds-barred interview that he doesn’t believe the courts are likely to come through for President Trump.

Despite massive amounts of evidence of widespread irregularities, many judges appear either unable or unwilling to sort through allegations of rigged voting machines and dozens of affidavits from eyewitnesses to ballot stuffing, denial of Republican poll watchers from observing the process, evidence of more votes cast in hundreds of precincts than were registered to vote, and a host of other irregularities.

The general placed the burden squarely on President Trump to use the emergency powers at his disposal and put down what he described as a coup d’état in progress.

“When you coordinate six to ten states, using cyber warfare, to change the outcome of the election in favor of whoever you want, these are treasonous acts,” McInerney said in a Nov. 29 interview with Brannon Howse of Worldview Weekend TV.

Not just fraudulent acts

“These are not just fraudulent acts, they are treasonous acts, because it means changing the government,” the general said. “And then when you add Russia, China and Iran, foreigners into it, you complicate it and make it even more treasonous. So, cyber warfare, and the Dominion Voting Systems, which we’re talking about in Georgia, Michigan and several other states, Pennsylvania as well, using Hammer and Scorecard [ballot manipulation software attacks]. Plus, has anyone seen the Justice Department or FBI in any of this? That is very worrisome.”

McInerney is not just any retired general making these claims.

He is highly decorated, having flown 400 combat missions over Vietnam. He was in charge of NORAD for Alaska and had a top security clearance with responsibility for the U.S. nuclear arsenal. He spent 16 years as a military analyst with Fox News.

“He is not only a patriot he is a historian and he understands the massive threat now faced by America,” Howse said.

McInerney said the fraud seen on Election Day could easily be repeated in Georgia to steal the two U.S. Senate seats up for election there on Jan. 5, giving Democrats full control of the government.

McInerney said that after listening to President Trump talk with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on Sunday morning, he was concerned that the president “sounded kind of down.”

“What startled me was, he kept talking about fraudulent votes, and then I heard Rudy Giuliani talking about fraudulent votes. It’s not fraudulent votes. The American people must understand, we are talking about treason.”

In Closing Argument For Julian Assange’s Extradition, Prosecutors Cast WikiLeaks As Criminal Enterprise

A United States counterintelligence strategy document signed by President Donald Trump warned the “number of actors targeting the United States is growing.”

Lumped in with Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and terrorist groups were “ideologically motivated entities, such as hacktivists, leaktivists, and public disclosure organizations” that U.S. intelligence agents view as “significant threats.” [PDF]

In the closing argument for the extradition case against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, Crown Prosecution Service lawyers cast WikiLeaks as an ideologically motivated entity that was in the “business of encouraging individuals to hack into computers.”

Prosecutors further allege Assange encouraged the “mass and indiscriminate theft of a vast number of documents,” and they sidestep issues of freedom of expression by maintaining WikiLeaks “cannot be compared to the New York Times.”

“WikiLeaks’ very purpose and design was to recruit persons to break the law—by circumventing classification restrictions and computer and access restrictions,” the submission states. They solicited classified information through a “Most Wanted Leaks” list and invited insiders to break the law or outsiders to hack into government agencies.

Referring to a third indictment that was announced in June and served on the defense weeks before the extradition trial, prosecutors claim Assange told an audience of hackers there was a “small vulnerability within the Congress document distribution system.” He publicized materials he wanted “obtained by hacking” and “exhorted” the public to “join the CIA in order to steal information.”

It mentions a 17-year-old who Assange allegedly asked to “commit computer intrusions and steal audio recordings of conversations between high ranking officials of a NATO country.” He also allegedly instructed this minor to “break into someone’s computer and delete chat logs.”

This minor referred to as the “Teenager” is Sigurdur “Siggi” Thordarson was, according to the defense, “convicted in Iceland of fraud, theft, and impersonation of Julian Assange.” He forged a letter and switched an account so he could embezzle $50,000 worth of funds from the WikiLeaks.

The Iceland Monitor reported in 2015 that Thordarson was sentenced to three years in prison for “sexual violations against nine boys.” He “abused one boy over forty times over the period of two years when the boy was aged 15-17.” Each boy was promised “payment in exchange for oral and anal sex,” and he also offered to “pay for things such as internet connections, telephone bills and television subscription and even to open up overseas bank accounts.”

Thordarson was an FBI informant, who begged agents for money. They eventually paid him $5,000 for the “work he missed while meeting with agents” in Alexandria, Virginia, where the grand jury investigation into WikiLeaks was empaneled.

Horowitz: Murder rate surging in 2020 as COVID policies keep criminals out of jail

Aside from the viral epidemic, 2020 will be remembered for a crime epidemic that broke the back of the criminal justice system, which has successfully reduced crime since the mid-1990s. Meanwhile, criminals continue to be kept out of jail and prison in order to keep "social distancing" in prisons, when data show they have a lower fatality rate than the rest of the population. More criminals on the streets, more crime, and less freedom for law abiding citizens. What will 2021 bring us?

On Monday, the National Commission on COVID-19 and Criminal Justice (NCCCJ) released an updated crime data report, which examined weekly changes in major crime offenses across 28 cities from January 2017 through October 2020. The findings were quite alarming.

Overall, homicide rates between June and October 2020 increased by 36% compared to the same period in 2019 in 21 cities, amounting to 610 more lost lives than last year. Aggravated assaults increased by 15% in the summer and 13% in the fall of 2020 over the same period last year; gun assaults increased by 15% and 16%. Residential burglaries, on the other hand, declined significantly because so many people remain at home.

NCCCJ is a program created by the Council of Criminal Justice in July and is co-chaired by former U.S. Attorneys General Alberto Gonzales and Loretta Lynch.

The study observed, "The precipitous rise in homicide and assaults in the late spring of 2020 coincided with the emergence of mass protests after George Floyd was killed by a police officer in Minneapolis, although the connection, if any, between the social unrest and heightened violence remains uncertain."

While the rise of Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioting certainly contributed to the rise in vandalism, arson, and assaults, there have only been a few homicides traced back to the riots. What the study fails to point out is that the increase in homicide is mainly from career criminals who are increasingly not locked up, especially while awaiting trial. The other variable this year, aside from the "protests," is the mass de-incarceration under the guise of protecting prisoners from the spread of COVID.

Finally, policymakers must take police reform seriously. Protesters have called for increasing accountability for police misconduct and shifting functions such as addressing the day-to-day problems of the homeless and responding to drug overdoses to other agencies and personnel better equipped to handle them.

Chinese researchers quit U.S.; agents target Biden team - U.S. officials

More than 1,000 Chinese researchers have left the United States amid a U.S. crackdown on alleged technology theft, top U.S. security officials said on Wednesday, adding that Chinese agents had already been targeting the incoming Biden administration.

China dismissed the accusations as “ludicrous.”

John Demers, chief of the U.S. Justice Department’s National Security Division, told a discussion hosted by the Aspen Institute think tank the researchers had left the country while the department launched multiple criminal cases against Chinese operatives for industrial and technological espionage.

A Justice Department official said they were a different group to those mentioned by the State Department in September, when it said the United States had revoked visas for more than 1,000 Chinese nationals under a presidential measure denying entry to students and researchers deemed security risks.

The official said the researchers Demers referred to, who U.S. authorities believed were affiliated with China’s People’s Liberation Army, fled the United States after the FBI conducted interviews in more than 20 cities and the State Department closed China’s Houston consulate in July.

“Only the Chinese have the resources and ability and will” to engage in the breadth of foreign influence activity that U.S. agencies have seen in recent years, Demers said.

William Evanina, chief of the counterintelligence branch of the office of the U.S. Director of National Intelligence, told the same event Chinese agents were already targeting personnel of the incoming administration of President-elect Joe Biden, as well as “people close” to Biden’s team.

He did not elaborate.

Biden’s transition team declined to comment. His campaign team said over the summer that it expected cyber attacks and was prepared for them.

In Beijing, Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told a news briefing the U.S. accusations were “ludicrous”, adding, “In the eyes of some Americans, there is only hatred, division and confrontation.”

Biden Says He Will Return to Iran Nuclear Deal

Iranian officials have said they are ready to come into compliance with the JCPOA in exchange for sanctions relief

Despite the tensions between the US and Iran and last week’s assassination of an Iranian scientist, Joe Biden said he plans to return to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Biden made the comments in an interview with New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman that was published on Wednesday. Friedman asked Biden if he stood by the views of an op-ed he penned in September, where the former vice president said he would work with Iran to return to the JCPOA. “It’s going to be hard, but yeah,” Biden answered.

The former vice president said he favors an immediate return to the JCPOA and then a follow-on deal that addresses Iran’s ballistic missiles program. Biden hopes the second deal could involve Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He said, “the best way to achieve getting some stability in the region” is to deal “with the nuclear program.”

There are a lot of forces at work to scuttle Biden’s efforts to return to the JCPOA. Even leading Democrats in Congress have said he should pursue a tougher deal. But Iran’s leadership has made it clear they are not negotiating with the US until they receive sanctions relief.

Both Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Javad Zarif have recently said that Iran can immediately come into compliance with the JCPOA if the US lifts sanctions.

Despite it being the subject of his previous column, Friedman failed to ask Biden about the brazen assassination of Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was killed in an apparent Israeli plot.

Israel is working hard to kill the JCPOA, and reports say President Trump has left Iran policy in the hands of his most hawkish advisors for the final days of his administration.

Last week, President Trump’s point man for Iran, Elliot Abrams, said the US will sanction Iran every week “until the end” of the administration. Abrams said it would be “foolish” for Biden to lift the sanctions.

The US State Department has cleared Lebanon for a foreign weapons sale worth $55.5 million despite the state's financial woes, Defense News reported.

This is the first foreign military sale for Lebanon approved by the US' State Department since the start of Donald Trump's presidency in 2017.

The crisis-ridden state is reportedly seeking to spend the money on 300 high-mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles (known as Humvees) to upgrade and standardise the army's current fleet.

The vehicles, which will be sourced from military contractor American General, would be primarily used to counter extremism and terrorism along the Lebanese borders.

The delivery would also be accompanied by logistical, maintenance and technical support for the Lebanese Armed Forces.

However, the approval, which was announced by the US' Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), does not guarantee the sales will take place in their current form.

The decision will have to be approved by Congress before Lebanon can begin to negotiate the details of the deal, including the price and quantity of the arms.

The DSCA said: "This proposed sale will support the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a partner country that continues to be an important force for political stability and economic progress in the Middle East."

However, the approval comes at a surprising time for Lebanon which is facing economic collapse and rising poverty; struggling to combat the coronavirus pandemic; and coping with the trauma of the massive 4 August explosion.

On Tuesday, Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh warned his institution could only support state subsidies on basic goods for the next two months, before currency reserves reach dangerous lows.

The UN yesterday hosted a second International Conference on Assistance and Support to Beirut in efforts to coordinate aid efforts as Lebanon copes with the political, economic and social turmoil.

However, international leaders have become increasingly impatient with Lebanon's lack of progress, despite constantly warning the state needs to overhaul its archaic systems to receive aid.

A similar conference in August raised nearly €253 million ($298 million) in aid pledges.

A fund managed by the World Bank will be created in the coming weeks to channel the international donations through UN agencies and non-governmental organisations.

The Trump campaign on Wednesday unveiled a tranche of information it plans to present to a Nevada state court Thursday that suggests there were thousands of fraudulent votes cast — possibly enough to overturn Joe Biden’s win there by 33,569 votes.

Officials said that among the evidence and expert testimony to be presented in Carson City are indications that over 1,500 ballots were cast by dead voters, that 42,248 people voted “multiple times,” data on a huge spike in incomplete voter registrations, and home addresses in temporary RV camps and casinos.

They also plan to present polling that 1% of Nevada voters shown to have voted never did and 2% of those shown to have voted by mail never got a ballot.

Schlapp said that the problems his group has found in just a few weeks in Nevada are likely in other states.

“This is a shameful moment in American history. Five or six Democrat-controlled major cities greenlighted fraud and changed outcomes. Trump won Nevada by a wide margin, and I believe these same dirty deeds occurred in Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, essentially disenfranchising 73.3 million Americans. This is a civil rights emergency. If we don’t immediately expose the fraud, America will never accept this election,” he added.

This is just more overwhelming evidence of the fraud perpetrated by major Democratic cities to try to steal the 2020 elections.

Judicial Watch: Records Show Obama DHS Scanned Georgia Election Site in 2016

Docs Suggest Activity Logs of Incidents Overwritten

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that it received 243 pages of records from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that show the Obama administration’s scanning the election systems of Georgia, Alaska, Oregon, Kentucky and West Virginia in 2016. This activity prompted a letter from then-Georgia Secretary of State (now Governor) Brian Kemp to then-DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson accusing DHS of, “an unsuccessful attempt to penetrate the Georgia Secretary of State’s firewall.”

The records were produced in response to Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, which asked for all records related to reported cyberattacks against the Georgia secretary of state’s information network involving DHS, including investigative reports, memoranda, correspondence and communications between October 1, 2016, and February 14, 2017.

The minutes of a DHS “Enterprise Security Operations Center” (ESOC) meeting indicate that on November 15, 2016, at 8:43 a.m. a “scanning event” occurred. The “‘scanning’ event was the result of a FLETC [Federal Law Enforcement Training Center] user’s Microsoft Office Discovery Protocol sending a packet with the OPTIONS flag to the Secretary of State of Georgia site.”

The minutes notes that the Enterprise Security Operations Center “has received requests from NCCIC [DHS’s The National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center] and MS-ISAC [Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center] to investigate other states that have seen ‘suspicious’ activity.”

The minutes note that Kemp accused DHS of conducting illicit scans on at least February 2, February 28 and May 23, 2016, as well.

DHS notes in the minutes that they were working with Microsoft to determine what happened: “Microsoft and the ESOC with the assistance of FLETC, were able to confirm that the user non-maliciously copied and pasted elements of the website to an excel document, which triggered the HTTP ‘OPTIONS’ request.”

A “Microsoft E-Mail Statement (Unofficial Statement to ESOC)” was included with the minutes. The email stated, “After looking at the data I do not see requests that look malicious in nature or appear to be attempting to exploit a vulnerability.”

A chart of “Current Open Vulnerabilities” for the period November 30, 2016, through December 12, 2016, noted that DHS had identified a total of 1,227 cyber vulnerabilities within DHS components, including five “High” severity ones at FEMA.

In a “Shift Pass Down Report – Sunday Night Shift – December 18, 2016” describing one of the State of Georgia incidents, DHS identifies that it originated, “from a FLETC-based Physical Security Contract Manager.”

DHS identifies activity originating from them in Alaska, Oregon, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Missouri state lawmaker Justin Hill (R-Lake St. Louis) released a bombshell report on Dominion Voting Systems on Tuesday. According to Hill Dominion were dissolved last year for failure to pay income taxes while operating in the state of Missouri.

Representative Hill concluded that Dominion has been operating illegally in the state.

Rep. Justin Hill told The Gateway Pundit that Dominion currently has about 20% of the electorate in the state of Missouri. Hill also found out that Dominion was dissolved in the State of Missouri. According to Missouri state law they are not allowed to operate their business in the Show Me state except for winding down their activities.

France has a well-developed military-industrial complex that can meet the current needs of the national armed forces for basic weapons and military equipment, including nuclear weapons.

At the present stage, the development of the French military-industrial complex is carried out within the framework of the doctrine reflected in the “White Paper on Defence and National Security” of 2013. Another fundamental document is the “Programme of Construction and Technical Equipment of the Armed Forces for 2019-2025”. According to these documents, the country’s military policy is based on three main principles: “protection” of the independence of the people and national territory, “deterrence” by nuclear forces, and rapid “response” to the changing geopolitical and economic situation in the world.

The military-political leadership of the republic has historically pursued a course to meet the needs of the armed forces mainly through the production capacity of the national military-industrial complex as one of the conditions for ensuring the “strategic independence” of the state.

The country is characterised by a complete industry structure of production, including nuclear.

Large associations of companies, which include the majority of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex in France, have a mixed form of ownership with state participation. Thus, the government, which holds a controlling stake in corporations such as the Airbus Group, Safran, Thales and Naval Group, reserves the right to make strategic decisions and veto other ones that threaten the interests of the state. The majority of the medium-sized and small companies involved in the production weapons and military equipment are owned by private capital.

The military-industrial complex provides 170 thousand jobs involving more than 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises. Its production facilities are located in areas with developed transport infrastructure, which ensures a high level of production logistics. A third of all military-industrial enterprises are located in the Paris region, the remaining part – in the regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Brittany and Aquitaine, and their share in the remaining departments does not exceed 5% of the total number.

Despite the “strategic independence” of the military-industrial complex, its research and production base are not designed for the full cycle of development and manufacture of modern weapons and military equipment systems, so the country takes an active part in international military-industrial cooperation with its EU and NATO allies.

The rocket and space industry (RSI) is one of the strategic industries that ensure the defence capabilities and economic security of the state, including maintaining the high competitiveness of France in the world market. Its distinctive feature is the centralisation of management and strict state control. The task of organising research in the field of outer space is assigned to the National Centre for Space Studies of France (CNES – Centre national d’études spatiales), the main governing and coordinating body of the rocket and space industry.

Bill Gates and Carlos Slim Are On a Mission To Bring COVID-19 Vaccines to Mexico

While the U.S. and Canada prepare to receive the first doses of their COVID-19 vaccines, their neighbor to the south is making plans to orchestrate their own vaccine distribution plan.

On Wednesday, the Mexican government announced a contract with Pfizer for their COVID-19 vaccine, which was developed with German partner BioNTech SE. According to AFP, Mexico also announced agreements with Britain’s AstraZeneca and China’s CanSino Biologics to buy their vaccines, which are undergoing trials.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador previously stated that the government would ensure that the vaccine was freely available to all Mexicans. In a separate announcement, Deputy Health Minister Hugo Lopez-Gatell stated that “Mexico’s military will help with the vaccination process.”

On Tuesday, Mexico’s Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said Pfizer’s vaccine could be administered in Mexico as soon as mid-December if approved by health regulators. Pfizer submitted details on the vaccine to Mexico’s regulators and is hoping to get approval in Mexico on the same timeline as the United States and Canada. “Pfizer – if Cofepris approves – will reach Mexico in December of this year,” Ebrard said on Twitter.

In the United States, Pfizer and Moderna have both applied to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency use authorization of its COVID-19 vaccine. The FDA is set to discuss the emergency use authorization on Dec. 10. Foreign Minister Ebrard said once the vaccines are approved it would take about five days to ship them from laboratories in either the United States or Europe.

While much has been made about the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed plan to distribute vaccines around the United States, less is known about Mexico’s plans for vaccinating their population. However, a study of the Mexican governments response to COVID-19 reveals many of the same connections to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as seen in Operation Warp Speed and the COVID-19 operation.

The vaccine negotiations came, in part, from Mexico’s participation in the World Health Organization’s COVAX Program. COVAX is co-led by Gavi, the Global Vaccine Alliance, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and WHO. These organizations state that COVAX was created “to accelerate the development and manufacture of COVID-19 vaccines, and to guarantee fair and equitable access for every country in the world.”
