My personal form of escapism is watching B - SyFy shows that never quite made it. In watching "Stargate Atlantis" (2004 - 2009). In the last episode I watched, the colony of explorers from Earth who discovered the Lost Continent thru a "stargate wormhole" (seems the entire Continent managed to escape the battle on earth by slipping thru a stargate ring??) are all suddenly attacked by a futuristic "bioweapon" of nanoparticles. Of course no one knew what nanoparticles were except the "Dr. Smith meets Mister Spock know-it-all scientist" who explains them as "super tiny machines which enter your blood cells via lungs" and can do anything they were programmed to do. In this case it was to cause everyone to stroke out, one at a time.

All is lost until the scientist theorizes that a low yield EMP exploded over Atlantis would have the effect of killing all the nanoparticles but somehow leaving all their other highly complex futuristic electronics unscathed (artistic license).

Accordingly, once POTUS is properly seated in the Oval for his next TWO terms, I propose that ALL CONTENT OUT OF PEDOWOOD from 1992 to the present be rounded up in every form it is and QUARANTINED until such time we extract from all their surviving social engineers, the subliminal script written into all this weaponry and develop counter-programming against it.
