Poll watcher: The special printer paper for ballots wasn't secured.
The poll watcher witness said the gas was cut off to the building, and that the ballot counting machines are supposed to be in a climate controlled environment. Not sure why someone turned off the gas; what the actual purpose was, since I have not heard any claims of machine breakdowns or having performance problems. Why would it have been shut off?
That makes sense. It has been mentioned that signature matching can be manually adjusted, so maybe cold temperatures can throw it, or another verification process, off as well.
