Prime Minister Scott Morrison has moved to lower the temperature in the relationship with China as he turns the blowtorch back towards Labor instead.

Mr Morrison has accused Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese of having an each-way bet on Beijing.

“You can’t have each-way bets on national security and what Australia does to protect its national interests,” Mr Morrison said.

Mr Albanese accused the prime minister of presiding over the complete breakdown of ties with China.

“The relationship with China isn’t something that’s deteriorated this week,” Mr Albanese said.

The next potential flashpoint is new powers allowing the government to overturn foreign deals.

One of the first targets likely to be in the firing line is Victoria’s controversial Belt and Road deal with China.

NYPD, feds arrest 14 alleged drug dealers in Harlem trafficking ring

More than a dozen men were indicted on federal charges for running a year-long drug ring in Upper Manhattan that dealt more than 280 grams of crack cocaine, authorities said Thursday.

The 14 men allegedly distributed the drug in Harlem around Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard between approximately 120th Street and 123rd Street from November 2019 through last month, according to an indictment from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

One member of the ring was also charged with a gunpoint robbery of a person who was attempting to buy narcotics and a gun on Nov. 3, officials said.

The arrests were made as part of Operation Harlem Heat and involved officers from the NYPD’s narcotics, vice and gang units, and Homeland Security Investigations, police sources said. The takedown, which included searches and arrests, happened Wednesday morning.

“As alleged in the Indictment, the defendants were responsible for selling large amounts of crack cocaine in Manhattan,” Acting Manhattan US Attorney Audrey Strauss said. “Thanks to the extraordinary work of our partners at NYPD and HSI, the defendants now face federal charges for their crimes.”

NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison cheered the busts on Twitter Thursday.

The men charged are Kenneth Spearman, aka “Big Man,” Sheldon Clark, aka “Sal,” Eric Grant, aka “E,” Sirron Stafford, aka “Sherm,” Cameron Francis, aka “Cam,” Isaiah Ledgister, aka “Pooch,” Tristian Oliver, aka “Jay,” Joseph Campbell, aka “JoJo,” Eric Gaston, Harvey Foster, aka “Fresh,” Maurice Womack, aka “Moe,” Reginald Claxton, aka “Dread,” Lavelle Maitland, aka “Vee,” and Ray Boyd, aka “Mustafa.” They are in the custody of the U.S. Marshalls Service.

All of the men were hit with the charge of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. Francis was charged in the robbery, according to officials.

“But Sidney Powell, Lin Wood and Rudy Giuliani assure us they have the goods and we need to keep the faith.” I’ve heard that kind of crap for four years now. Did Hillary get locked up? Did Trump drain the swamp? Comey, Brennan, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Holder, etc. Any of those communist been arrested for their crimes that we all know and have seen committed? Georgia Secretary of State Says Abrams-Linked Group Tried to ‘Register His Deceased Son’

Officials in Georgia are investigating multiple Democrat-linked groups for allegedly attempting to register “deceased” people and “out-of-state” voters ahead of the state’s January 5th Senate run-off election.

“I have issued clear warnings several times to groups and individuals working to undermine the integrity of elections in Georgia through false and fraudulent registrations,” said Secretary Raffensperger. “The security of Georgia’s elections is of the utmost importance. We have received specific evidence that these groups have solicited voter registrations from ineligible individuals who have passed away or live out of state. I will investigate these claims thoroughly and take action against anyone attempting to undermine our elections.”

“Secretary Brad Raffensperger has launched an investigation into several groups, including America Votes, Vote Forward, and The New Georgia Project, that have repeatedly and aggressively sought to register ineligible, out-of-state, or deceased voters before the January 5 Senate runoff elections. For several weeks, the Secretary has issued warnings against efforts to register individuals who are ineligible to cast ballots in the January runoffs or to encourage people to come to Georgia solely to cast ballots,” reads a statement from his office.

Ratcliffe urges Biden to 'be honest' about China threat, warns against 'politicizing intelligence'

Ratcliffe says China is 'the greatest national security threat that we face'

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe warned the incoming Biden administration against “politicizing intelligence,” urging them to “be honest about” and “acknowledge” that China is the “greatest national security threat that we face.”

In an exclusive interview with Fox News following the publication of an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal that outlined the threat China poses to the United States, Ratcliffe said he has a “unique vantage point” and the “ability to see more threat information than anyone else.”

“The intelligence is so clear that China is our greatest threat,” Ratcliffe said.

“People that equate other things, or say, oh, you know, Russia is a greater threat, they are politicizing intelligence,” Ratcliffe said. “I am hoping now that the election is over, now that people have voted, and if there is a Biden administration, that they will get past politicizing intelligence and be honest about China and acknowledge that China, and China alone is the greatest national security threat that we face.”

Ratcliffe told Fox News that China intends “to dominate economically, militarily and technologically, and is the only country capable of challenging American supremacy across the board.”

“All of the threat streams that we have, from all aspects, militarily, economically, supply chain issues, foreign investment, technologically, cyber issues, cyber warfare, 5G, telecommunications — China is in all of those and they are the only country to be in that space and the only country that threatens America supremacy,” Ratcliffe told Fox News.

When asked whether the United States was in an offensive or defensive position with regard to China, Ratcliffe said the U.S. remains in an offensive place.

“Generals will always tell you that you want to fight from the high ground because it is easier to fight downhill than it is to fight uphill,” Ratcliffe said. “The urgency here is, in part, because we still are the dominant superpower. China wants to change that, but right now we have the ability to meet this challenge fighting downhill.”

Majority of voters opposed to big tech's speech regulations

Fewer than one-fifth are supportive of tech's speech controls.

A solid majority of U.S. voters take a negative or oppositional view of Big Tech's speech-control regulations on its multiple social media platforms, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen.

Over a third of the surveyed voters, 36%, said the major tech companies – which would include the owners of social media giants like Facebook and Twitter – are "biased, and have gone too far in infringing free speech."

Twenty-eight percent said that such companies "have good intentions but don't belong in the business of speech regulation."

Just 18% said the companies are doing "a good job protecting the public from falsehoods."

Tech companies have been the focus of much scrutiny and criticism during the 2020 presidential election cycle, with critics arguing they selectively policed or censured information in ways designed to downplay and silence conservative voices.

Project Veritas Challenges CNN to Court Battle Over Alleged Biden Scandal Blackout Tapes

The mainstream media giant threatened investigative journalists with felony charges this week after the independent website posted a recording of a board meeting in which CNN President Jeff Zucker ordered editors to suppress a story about Hunter Biden influence-peddling scandal allegations.

Project Veritas claims it is ready to fight CNN "all the way" in court after the mainstream media giant threatened the independent journalists with legal action for posting leaked excerpts of the network’s briefings. CNN Communications did not confirm or deny the authenticity of recordings, but tweeted, citing “legal experts”, that the leak of the tapes “may be a felony”, adding that the company had “referred it to law enforcement.”

"The statement about contacting law enforcement and a felony came from the CNN PR staff - it didn't come from their lawyers, right?" Project Veritas communications director Neil McCabe told Sputnik. "That was a PR stunt by the PR staff. The police aren't knocking on our door. They didn't name any legal experts… The whole thing is ridiculous."

"Project Veritas is on a seven to zero winning streak in court," he boasted. "We do not settle. We take everybody to court - we take it all the way to trial."

He scoffed at threats from CNN "legal experts" of “felony” charges after Project Veritas posted leaked recordings of a board meeting in which CNN President Jeff Zucker ordered allegations of a Biden scandal buried.

"These are the same legal experts that told CNN that it was OK to run the secret recordings of First Lady Melania Trump. These are the same legal experts that said it was okay to run the Access Hollywood tapes of President Trump," McCabe stressed. "When have CNN ever said, hold on, we can't run this because it might be breaking a law?"

In recordings released by Project Veritas, Zucker is heard to say: "I don't we should be repeating unsubstantiated smears just because the right-wing media suggests that we should".

A CNN executive vice president and legal counsel, David Vigilante, agrees in the audio that "we should be awfully careful regarding coverage of the Hunter Biden story" and demands to know why some political journalists had shared the story on social media.

"Jeff Zucker, the outgoing president of CNN, actively suppresses news and then hypes other stories," McCabe said, commenting on the tapes. "Not because the stories are true or because the stories are false. But because the stories either fit Zucker's worldview or they don't."

Nevada Court Hears of USPS Witness Obstruction, Flawed Machine Inspections, and Deceased Voters

A Nevada hearing has revealed a host of election regularities including: the obstruction of witnesses by the United States Postal Service; ballots cast by dead people; improperly calibrated signature verification machines; and election inspections where less than one-third of the GOP’s demands were met.

Since the election contest case was filed, a host of developments have occurred regarding officials receiving access to inspect voting systems and data revealing the extent of fraud in the swing state.

Obstruction.

One such development is that the United States Postal Service (USPS) is “preventing witnesses and whistleblowers from testifying,” concerning wide-scale orders for workers to deliver ballots to nearly 8,000 “undeliverable” addresses. The ballots were later “collected, turned in, and presumably counted.”

“There are multiple key witnesses who are whistleblowers with matching, independent stories supporting these issues, who USPS is trying to obstruct from testifying,” the Nevada GOP notes.

100,000 Forged Ballots.

The state Republican Party is also putting forward a data scientist testifying to over 100,000 unique cases of illegal ballots.

The findings come from an analysis of over two million records including Nevada state voter files, Nevada Election Day voter files, early voting files, consumer data files, and more.

The findings reveal over 40,000 duplicate ballots and 1,500 deceased voters:

Out of State Voters: Almost 20,000 Nevada voters had a non-Nevada mailing address;

Non-existent Addresses: Approximately 8,000 voters had registered addresses that are physically non-existent;

USPS Flags on Non-Residential Addresses: approximately 15,000 voters are registered to vote at either a commercial address or a vacant property;

USPS Flags on Vacant Addresses: Almost 6,000;

National Change of Address Out of State: 2,468 voters legally changed their address to another jurisdiction or state or country;

Deceased Voters: Almost 1,500 Nevada voters listed as deceased by the Social Security Administration (SSA) Master Death File, Consumer Data Vendors, Public Obituary Data Matches, and Credit Bureau Deceased Data voted;

Duplicate Voter Registrations: 42,000 voters voted twice and have multiple voter registration numbers associated with substantially the same name, birthdate, and address.
