Who Actually Believes This BS Story? Joe Biden Explains How He Broke His Foot in Interview with CNN

Who actually believes this story?

Joe Biden supposedly slipped and fractured his foot while playing with his German shepherd named Major on Saturday.

But he hid it from the media for a full 24 hours.

Joe Biden’s team also tried to block the media by maneuvering a press van so that reporters and photogs couldn’t see Biden as he entered the orthopedic office last weekend.

On Thursday 78-year-old Joe Biden explained how he fractured his foot in an interview with CNN.

“I’m walking through this little alleyway to get to the bedroom and I grabbed the ball like this and he ran and I was joking running after him to grab his tail. And what happened was he slipped on a throw rug and I tripped on the rug he slid on,” said Biden.

Voting Machine USB Drives Had Totals Altered Overnight, Witness In Nevada Election Contest Alleges

A witness brought forward by the Trump campaign in its election contest in Nevada alleged that the memory disks used to store vote totals from election machines during the early vote period had the vote tallies inexplicably changed overnight, according to a presentation at an evidentiary hearing in Carson City on Dec. 3.

According to Jesse Binnall, who presented the evidence on behalf of the Trump campaign, the witness, whose name is shielded by a protective order, said that the vote tallies were collected from the machine at the end of every voting day and stored on Universal Serial Bus (USB) drives overnight.

“What they would do is they would log these disks in and out. Good practice. And the disks had a serial number on them. And numerous times that disk would be logged out with one vote total on it and logged back in the next morning during the early vote period with a different number on it. Sometimes more, sometimes less,” Binnall said.

“What that means is that literally in the dead of night, votes were appearing, and books are disappearing on these machines.”

Binnall said that the USB drives were not encrypted and the voting machines were not password protected.

“And they were hooked up with laptops, then where the laptops themselves could have been compromised,” he added.

The allegation about the vote total alterations was one of several Binnall presented during an evidentiary hearing, the first of its kind for the Trump legal team’s six-state post-election effort.

At the core of the election challenge in Nevada are several batches of ballots that the Trump campaign alleges were either cast, processed, or counted illegally, including roughly 40,000 voters who allegedly voted twice. The campaign is also arguing that the signatures on more than 130,000 ballots were verified solely by a machine in contravention of Nevada’s election law.

The campaign is asking the court to affirm the contest and strike the electors representing former Vice President Joe Biden, who are the defendants in the contest, from representing the state of Nevada in the Electoral College.

“Every single one of these instances that we’ve identified has resulted again in the votes of honest Nevadans being disenfranchised,” Binnall said.

“We understand that this is an unusual situation but what we can’t do is turn a blind eye to vote fraud. If we’re going to keep being the beacon of representative Democracy in the world, when it goes bad—and here it went bad—we can’t just turn a blind eye to it. That’s not what we do in America. We make it right.”

Kevin Hamilton, the attorney for the defendants, delivered a comprehensive point-by-point challenge to all of the Trump campaign’s claims. He argued that the Trump campaign didn’t name a single voter among voluminous lists of ballots that were allegedly illegally cast.

“Simply put, breathtaking relief demands breathtaking evidence but contestants stand before you with nothing of the sort,” Hamilton said.

Scott Morrison's demand for apology over fake image of Australian soldier 'unfortunate', says China's deputy ambassador Wang Xining

China's deputy ambassador to Australia has accused Scott Morrison of overreacting to an inflammatory tweet by a Chinese official and has reiterated that Australia will have to take "concrete steps" if it wants to improve the bilateral relationship.

Key points:

China's deputy ambassador Wang Xining suggests Scott Morrison's response to the fake image was a tactical stumble

Mr Morrison says he wants a "happy co-existence" with China

Mr Wang says China hopes to see "concrete actions" by Australia to bring the relationship back to normal

Chinese state media, the Chinese embassy in Canberra and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing have all berated Australia this week after the Prime Minister demanded China apologise for the tweet, which featured a fake image of an Australian soldier holding a knife to the throat of an Afghan child.

The tweet is a reference to the Brereton report on alleged Australian war crimes in Afghanistan. It includes reports that Australian soldiers slit the throats of two teenagers, although that allegation has not been substantiated in the report's unredacted sections.

The controversy has also lit up Chinese social media channels this week.

The deputy ambassador, Wang Xining, told the ABC Mr Morrison's response was "unfortunate" and suggested it may have been a tactical stumble.

"Now there is much larger visibility of the Brereton report in China. More people are attentive to what happened in Afghanistan," he said.

"People wonder why a national leader would have such a strong opinion to [sic] an artwork by a normal young artist in China."

The Government has been trying to dial down the temperature of the dispute in the last few days, with the Prime Minister saying that Australia wanted "happy co-existence" with China and stressing he still wanted to reopen channels of communication with top Chinese leaders.

Mr Wang denied China was refusing to talk to Australian leaders, despite the fact that multiple ministers have repeatedly said they cannot get their counterparts on the phone.

Compromise defense bill confronts a rising China

WASHINGTON ― Eyeing China’s rise as a global military and economic power, lawmakers unveiled a compromise defense policy bill Thursday that targets China on multiple fronts, with $6.9 billion prescribed for a new Pacific Deterrence Initiative over two years.

The 2021 National Defense Authorization Act reflects a national defense budget of $740.5 billion, and it includes a second Virginia-class submarine and contract authority for up to two Columbia-class submarines.

Beyond the president’s budget request for U.S. forces in the Pacific, the bill ― a compromise version of three House and Senate proposals ― added $158 million, including $45 million for an Army’s Multi-Domain Task Force and $34 million for infrastructure improvements.

The bill would require the Pentagon report on the necessary military infrastructure, construction investments and logistics needs for the region by Feb. 1, 2021.

“The PDI will send a strong signal to China and any potential adversaries, as well as to our allies and partners, that America is deeply committed to defending our interests in the region,” said a bipartisan Senate Armed Services Committee bill summary, adding that the bill, “includes numerous provisions to deter China’s malign behavior, position the United States for strategic competition, and protect our assets from infiltration.”

Victorian MP puts forward bold proposal for new Australian state (The state that sold out to China B&R)

A radical policy proposal has been put forward for Australia to have a brand new state which would involve a number of areas breaking away.

Victorian MP has put forward a bold proposal for Australia to have a new “super state” comprising regional parts of Victoria and NSW.

The state’s Parliamentary Budget Office published the radical policy proposal on Friday after state Liberal MP for Northern Victoria Tim Quilty requested “independent advice” about the “economic character” of a new state.

Major Victorian regional centres such as Ballarat, Bendigo, Mildura, Wodonga and Shepparton would be included in the new state, alongside NSW hubs such as Wagga Wagga, Albury, Orange, Bathurst and Griffith, according to the report.

The move dubbed “Rexit”, meaning “regional exit”, was first raised by Mr Quilty during his maiden speech to parliament in 2018, where he called for regional Victoria and NSW to join forces and split from their capitals.

He said the new state would help curb the social and economic divide between regional and city people.

Mr Quilty told NCA NewsWire on Friday the move “has to happen”.

“I’ve always believed it should happen but didn’t think it would happen at the time I gave the speech and, in the last two years, just seeing how the government runs things — they make decisions that impact regions, they aren’t even considered,” he said.

“This just shouldn’t happen, it has to happen.”

Mr Quilty said there were a couple of models for the proposed new state, the first being northern regional Victoria combined with southern regional NSW.

The second model was for the greater Melbourne and Geelong regions to form one state, and the greater Sydney region to be it’s own jurisdiction, while the rest of regional Victoria and regional NSW would form “one big super state”.

Mr Quilty said he would start a campaign in the next few weeks help his idea gather momentum, eventually leading to a referendum that would see a redrawing of all Australian state boundaries, Mr Quilty said.
