Saw this being shared on Facebook, but realize that someone could have just flipped the image to make it look like he is wearing it on the wrong leg. I remember this happening with noname McCain.

LOL! I'm sure all the CIA nurtured ET/alien believers are just devastated that the Utah monolith was merely an art piece constructed with plywood, stainless steel, and held together with rivets.
Though I think it would be challenging and fun to create an object that appears otherworldly, made from some novel metamaterial that would make scientists scratch their heads and inspire the masses to wonder and then at some future date reveal that It was made by a human “being” with the most advanced brain of any species of life in the known Universe.
One of the reasons that I liked the movie “Contact” was that we were never told that the portal machine plans were truly sent to us from “aliens”. It was equally conceivable that the wealthy eccentric engineer who funded the radio signal research and who broke the complex code staged the whole thing.
