Well, the decriminalization of marijuana has passed the house folks. They're already saying it won't pass the "Republican Senate."

I disagree. I believe the Senate will pass it.

I believe POTUS needs to be very careful on this one. If he veto's it, assuming it gets past the Senate, there's a good number of people who would turn on him, instantly.
