It's insurrection. They should be hanged at very least. I like firing squads, too. Its' a crime on a scale that is bigger and has more effect than murder, so it should be punished to the furthest extent of the law. Plus the punishment has to be remembered for as long as the republic stands.

I'd like to see them all hang or the firing squads or at least a few years of hard labor, but of course it's not going to happen. I suspect most of the will skate, maybe with a very minor slap on the wrist that may not even entail prison time. They will just be admonished not to do it again.
