Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer says that those who refuse to take the COVID vaccine won’t have “freedom to move around” and will have to continue to wear masks.

Dr. David Williams was asked if he “would make some sort of mandatory vaccination recommendation.”

Williams acknowledged that “we can’t force someone to take a vaccine,” but when on to explain how people who didn’t take it would have their freedom of mobility severely restricted.

“What we can do is to say sometimes for access or ease of getting into certain settings, if you don’t have vaccination then you’re not allowed into that setting without other protection materials,” said Williams.

“What may be mandatory is proof of…vaccination in order to have latitude and freedom to move around…without wearing other types of personal protective equipment,” he added.

Williams also suggested that people would be prevented from entering certain settings without having been vaccinated if there was a “risk.”

As we previously highlighted, governments do not have to make the vaccine mandatory, they can simply make life unlivable for people who refuse to take the vaccine.

If bars, restaurants, cinemas, sports venues, airlines, employers and others all make the vaccination a mandatory condition of service, anyone who refuses to take it will be reduced to a personal form of de facto lockdown with their social lives and mobility completely stunted.

Michigan Secretary of State Issues Order to Delete Election Data Amid Audit Calls

In a move that implicates her office in efforts to suppress evidence in the face of litigation, Michigan’s Secretary of State moves to erase proof of ballot tampering and vote fraud

It what can only be seen as an effort to keep the facts from coming to light in the face of problematic issues with Michigan’s 2020 General Election process, a memo has been issued from Michigan’s Secretary of State to destroy data.

The Michigan State Republican Party Friday sounded an alarm about an ethically questionable memo authorized by Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson that “is pushing for the mass deletion of election data.”

Michigan Republican Party Chairman Laura Cox in a statement Friday, said that Benson’s office issued orders to clerks in Michigan counties to “delete Electronic Poll Book software and associated files” even as calls to audit the election persist.

Cox was referring to a December 1, 2020, memo from the Michigan Bureau of Elections, an agency overseen by Benson’s office, that read, “[Electronic Poll Book] software and associated files must be deleted from all devices by the seventh calendar day following the final canvass and certification of the election (November 30, 2020) unless a petition for recount has been filed and the recount has not been completed, a post-election audit is planned but has not yet been completed, or the deletion of the data has been stayed by an order of the court or the Secretary of State.”

The order targeted data contained in Electronic Poll Book software and in files contained on laptops and USB drives using during the election.

“Secretary Benson’s move to request the deletion of election data amidst bipartisan calls for an audit is just another example of her putting partisan politics over what’s best for Michigan,” Cox said in the Friday statement.

“With election irregularities rampant across the state,” Cox added, “it is vital that we have this audit before any election data is deleted. Secretary Benson’s move to delete this data before an audit raises a serious question, what are the Democrats hiding?”

This week, witnesses, including a poll worker in Detroit and GOP poll challengers, testified at a Michigan State Legislature hearing into the myriad complaints of vote fraud and ballot tampering throughout the state on Election Day and afterward.

Michigan’s Secretary of State told reporters that there is no evidence of vote fraud, ballot tampering, or irregularities that would overturn the election, despite the mountain of evidence to the contrary.

Long Island man accused of being a pedophile foot fetishist, ‘sextorting’ girls

A Long Island man was both a pedophile and a foot-fetishist, using social media to coerce pornographic selfies and photos of feet from more than a dozen underage girls, Suffolk County officials said Friday.

Bradley Garyn, 27, of Melville, now faces up to 15 years in prison for the “sextortion” of girls ages 12 to 15, Newsday reported.

Garyn allegedly contacted girls on Snapchat using multiple user names. He would offer them $10 in exchange for the dirty photos, paying via the Cash App or Amazon gift certificates, Suffolk County DA Timothy Sini said.

He’d up the ante for increasingly graphic photos, paying up to $500, Sini said. At least once, he coerced a young victim into sending him photos and video by threatening to share her previous images with others, Sini said.

He has been charged with use of a child in a sexual performance, promoting a sexual performance by a child, disseminating indecent material to minors in the first degree, coercion in the first degree and criminal solicitation in the third degree, all felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

His arrest was the result of a investigation the Suffolk County Police Department’s Computer Crimes Unit that began in Sept. 2020.

“This is a scheme that is unfortunately becoming more and more common, and that is adult males preying upon younger girls — including juveniles and children — to get them to send inappropriate photos and videos, including nude photos or videos involving sex acts, via social media,” Sini said.

“They often engage in what we call “sextortion,” which is essentially threatening victims into sending these photos and videos or else the perpetrator will widely distribute the explicit images that were previously sent.”

Georgia officials on Thursday asked a judge to lift an order that is blocking officials from altering information in voting machines in three counties, arguing the machines are needed to prepare for the upcoming Senate runoff elections.

Evidence demonstrates Cobb and Gwinnett counties “need to use” ballot marking devices from Dominion Voting Systems, Carey Miller, a state attorney, wrote in a court filing.

The filing included a declaration from Kristi Royston, the elections supervisor for Gwinnett County’s Board of Voter Registrations and Elections.

She said the restraining order preventing her county and others from wiping or resetting the voter machines “has grave and serious consequences.”

Court documents claim Prince Andrew's accuser 'paid half a million' by Epstein

New York: Prince Andrew's chief accuser Virginia Giuffre was a prostitute who lied about her age, new court documents allege, suggesting she was paid "half a million" by Jeffrey Epstein.

Giuffre, 37, and now living in Queensland, claims to have had sex with the Prince three times when she was 17. Newly filed legal documents in her suit against US celebrity lawyer Alan Dershowitz allege she was "on the game for about a year" before she met Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of sex trafficking her and a number of other young women in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Giuffre has always insisted she is a victim and never a willing participant – and has accused her critics of "recycling fantasies of their version of the truth for years".

She claims the men who abused her have been using their wealth and influence to keep her quiet - and accused the Queen's son of "hiding behind his mummy's skirt" by saying "I didn't do it".

Allegations contained in the documents claim that Giuffre was 16, not 15, when she first met Ms Maxwell in Florida. She is also accused of changing a story about meeting Donald Trump and that she confused one of the men accused of being involved in sex trafficking, allegedly a Harvard professor, with another professor.

The Harvard professor vehemently denies the allegations.

Nearly 30 found in Texas smuggling operation, 1 man arrested

An Honduran man was charged on Friday with harboring more than two dozen people who authorities say were being held in a Houston home as part of a human smuggling operation, according to a federal prosecutor.

The smuggling operation was discovered Thursday evening after one of the men who was being kept inside the home escaped and was seen running down a residential street in his underwear, yelling that he had been kidnapped, Houston police said.

Authorities determined that 28 men and one woman who had illegally immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Cuba were being kept in the home, according to U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Patrick. The immigrants were only wearing undergarments when they were found.

The home had boarded-up windows and deadbolt locks on the inside doors.

After their discovery, the immigrants were taken to a school gymnasium to get out of the cold, police said.

At the home, authorities also found 36-year-old Mauro Dominguez-Maldonado, who prosecutors allege was in charge of watching the immigrants and performing other duties as part of the smuggling operation.

Dominguez-Maldonado, who authorities say was living illegally in Houston, was arrested and later charged with harboring. He faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a possible fine of up to $250,000 if convicted.

Dominguez-Maldonado was set to appear before a magistrate judge on Monday. Court records did not list an attorney for him.

Biden officially secures enough electors to become president

California certified its presidential election Friday and appointed 55 electors pledged to vote for Democrat Joe Biden, officially handing him the Electoral College majority needed to win the White House.

Secretary of State Alex Padilla’s formal approval of Biden’s win in the state brought his tally of pledged electors so far to 279, according to a tally by The Associated Press. That’s just over the 270 threshold for victory.

These steps in the election are often ignored formalities. But the hidden mechanics of electing a U.S. president have drawn new scrutiny this year as President Donald Trump continues to deny Biden’s victory and pursues increasingly specious legal strategies aimed at overturning the results before they are finalized.

Although it’s been apparent for weeks that Biden won the presidential election, his accrual of more than 270 electors is the first step toward the White House, said Edward B. Foley, a law professor at Ohio State University.

“It is a legal milestone and the first milestone that has that status,” Foley said. “Everything prior to that was premised on what we call projections.”

The electors named Friday will meet Dec. 14, along with counterparts in each state, to formally vote for the next president. Most states have laws binding their electors to the winner of the popular vote in their state, measures that were upheld by a Supreme Court decision this year. There have been no suggestions that any of Biden’s pledged electors would contemplate not voting for him.

Results of the Electoral College vote are due to be received, and typically approved, by Congress on Jan. 6. Although lawmakers can object to accepting the electors’ votes, it would be almost impossible for Biden to be blocked at that point.

Drug industry trade groups sue Trump admin over drug pricing rule

The lawsuit claims the rule change is illegal because it relies on laws allowing the administration to test new drug pricing models but is too far-reaching to qualify as a pilot.

WASHINGTON - Drug industry trade groups filed two lawsuits against the Trump administration on Friday challenging new US rules to lower drug prices, potentially undermining one of President Donald Trump's flagship efforts to take on high drug costs.

The suits were filed by PhRMA, the pharmaceutical industry trade group, and a group of biotechnology industry trade organizations, including Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), in federal courts in Maryland and California, respectively.

The administration last month announced it has finalized a rule, which will take effect on Jan. 1, that would tie payments for some drugs made by Medicare, a US government insurance program, to the lowest price paid by certain other countries.

Since he lost the presidential election, Trump has been issuing and finalizing a host of rule changes in areas ranging from energy, healthcare to immigration in a bid to bolster key areas of his agenda prior to his departure from the White House in January.

The new reimbursement rules will affect 50 drugs and be tied to the lowest price charged among a list of rich countries. The administration says the move could save taxpayers and patients $85 billion over seven years.

Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America's lawsuit claims the rule change is illegal because it relies on laws allowing the administration to test new drug pricing models but is too far-reaching to qualify as a pilot. It requests that the court halt the rule before it can be implemented.

"It's not a test when it impacts the entire country and implicates 90% of (Medicare's hospital drug) spending with no control group," said Steve Ubl, PhRMA's chief executive officer.

PhRMA is joined in its suit by the Association of Community Cancer Centers, a network of cancer treatment providers.

The White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Efforts by the administration to curb drug prices, such as a proposed rule to force drugmakers to reveal list prices in advertisements, have been undermined by successful industry lawsuits in the past.

Ellen to Elliot: How Wikipedia aids the rapid cementing of transgender identities

Rapid-fire editing squads help solidify gender "transitions" of public figures.

When the former Ellen Page, who gained fame playing the title role in "Juno," announced this week that she identifies as transgender and was adopting a male-centered identity with the new name "Elliot," it took only a few hours for dozens of pages on Wikipedia to be quickly updated to reflect that decision.

This type of digital biographical backfitting has become a familiar occurrence in recent years in response to the changed gender statuses of public figures.

Page, who in 2014 publicly came out as a lesbian, made the announcement in a tweet shortly after noon on Dec. 1. "Hi friends," the message read, "I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot."

"I feel lucky to be writing this," Page continued. "To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life."

Page's announcement was received with a mix of acclaim and neutral media coverage. "Elliot Page … announces he is transgender," read one headline in the New York Times. "… Elliot Page Announces He Is Transgender," reported Elle. Actress Sarah Paulson tweeted: "Much respect … and admiration." The pro-LGBTQ group GLAAD, meanwhile, wrote: "Elliot will now be an inspiration to countless trans and non-binary people. We celebrate him."

More quietly, however, a rapid-fire flurry of activity on the high-traffic reference website Wikipedia was helping to quickly erase nearly all evidence of Ellen Page in favor of the rechristened Elliot. Within just hours of the announcement, Page's Wikipedia page had been updated: "Elliot Page has recently announced that he is transgender therefore this page needed to be updated," the editor's note reads on the page's editing history.

An avalanche of edits has followed in the days since — far more activity than had been customary for Page's entry on the informational website. For the whole month of November the page received 10 edits, while in the three days following Page's announcement the entry was edited hundreds of times.

Many of the edits reflect a struggle to reconcile the arcane, difficult-to-wrangle terminology associated with transgenderism. "I don't think 'transgender male actor' is appropriate for someone who explicitly identifies as non-binary," one note reads. Another states: "We do not post assigned at birth names for transgender people, and we certainly do not bold them."

Amistad Project argues in new report that Electoral College deadlines are not set in stone

Illegal conduct by state and local officials during the election process can alter the deadlines for choosing electors.

The Amistad Project of the non-partisan Thomas More Society released a white paper on Friday making the case that current Electoral College deadlines are arbitrary and not set in stone, contrary to what most news outlets have reported.

The white paper says that these deadlines — Dec. 8 for disputes to be resolved and Electors to be determined, and Dec. 14 for the Electoral College to meet in person and vote in their respective states — are a "direct impediment to states' obligations to investigate disputed elections."

According to the Amistad Project press release, the paper examines the history of Electoral College deadlines, which "are not only elements of a 72-year old federal statute with zero Constitutional basis, but are also actively preventing the states from fulfilling their constitutional — and ethical — obligation to hold free and fair elections. Experts believe that the primary basis for these dates was to provide enough time to affect the presidential transition of power, a concern which is fully obsolete in the age of internet and air travel."

Phill Kline, the director of the Amistad Project, argues in this paper that the Dec. 8 "safe harbor" deadline does not apply when there have been "flagrant violations of state election laws" that have "affected the outcome of the popular vote."

The Amistad Project has filed litigation in several of the swing states, where they argue that "more than 1.2 million potentially fraudulent ballots" were the result of illegal conduct by state and local officials. They say that in each of the disputed swing states "the number of potentially fraudulent ballots far exceeds the margin separating the leading presidential candidate."

According to the white paper, the only date in the election process set by the Constitution is "the assumption of office by the President on January 20."

"Because the U.S. Constitution places ultimate authority for designating presidential Electors in the hands of state legislatures," the paper argues, "it is the responsibility of the people's elected representatives to judge the relevant facts and appoint an appropriate slate of Electors, subject only to the sole deadline set forth in the U.S. Constitution — 12:00 noon on January 20, 2021."

US State Dept sanctions Chinese govt officials over ‘coercive influence activities’

The US State Department has announced yet another round of sanctions on Chinese officials said to be involved in “coercive influence activities,” demanding Beijing cease suppressing ‘freedom of expression.’

The department has sanctioned several Chinese officials, accusing them of using coercion and intimidation to “suppress freedom of expression,” according to a statement from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday.

The sanctions include visa restrictions on Chinese officials at the United Front Work Department, which Pompeo has alleged engaged in “malign activities” against those who oppose Beijing.

He described the party as a “revolutionary relic,” comparing it to Iran and reasoning “That’s why they work together so much.”

“This isn’t about America versus China, it’s about freedom versus tyranny,” the US diplomat continued, reprising a favorite line.

Pompeo also complained about what he called the Hong Kong government’s “political persecution” of anti-Beijing billionaire Jimmy Lai, US-backed protest leader Joshua Wong, and fellow Hong Kong protesters Agnes Chow and Ivan Lam. Chow and Lam received brief sentences for their participation in the anti-government riots on Wednesday, while Wong’s sentence was considerably longer.

Lai, who runs a news outlet sympathetic to the anti-government protesters, has been charged with fraud and remains in custody.

A young Palestinian teen has died after being shot in the stomach by an Israeli soldier during a protest in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said. Israeli officials deny their forces fired live rounds.

The 13-year-old boy was taken to a hospital in Ramallah in critical condition, where he died from his injuries, according to a statement from the health ministry posted on Facebook.

A spokeswoman for Israel’s military said that its personnel had used “riot dispersal means” against Palestinians who were throwing rocks and burning tires in the village of al-Mughayir, some 27 kilometers northeast of Ramallah.

“The reports of the use of live fire during the riot are not true, and claims about a number of rioters injured and one killed are known,” she said.

However, Palestinian media reported that live rounds and tear gas were used against the demonstrators, while four men were wounded during a march that was reportedly staged in protest at Israeli plans to expand settlements in the West Bank.

The mayor of al-Mughayir told reporters that the child had been shot near the entrance to the village.

“This ugly crime is a war crime and a crime against humanity,” the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a statement about the reported death.

Footage posted to social media purported to show Palestinians on Friday evening protesting the killing of the boy.

Last week, a Palestinian driver was shot dead after he allegedly tried to ram his car into an Israeli police checkpoint outside Jerusalem.

Britain’s £1bn in “aid” to Yemen as it sells bombs to Saudi is the very definition of blood money

Does the British government’s cynicism know no end? Confirming multi-million pound aid packages for war-torn Yemen while facilitating attacks by the Saudis is treachery of the highest standard.

The British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab’s announcement of a further £14 million in “aid” to famine-wracked, cholera-swept, devastated Yemen is surely the perfect example of ‘blood money’. The new tranche takes the total aid from the UK to the war-torn country since 2015 to over £1 billion – and £214 million of that has been in 2020 alone.

That nearly £5 billion-worth of UK weapons sales to Saudi Arabia have been made in the very same time period is a second dot that the government is hoping you don’t join. Because, of course, most of those weapons have been used against Yemen, the poorest country in the Middle East, by Saudi Arabia, the richest country in the Middle East.

The immortal Milo Minderbender, from the greatest 20th-century English-language novel ‘Catch-22’, would thoroughly approve.

Milo, readers may recall, rented out his own US airplanes to the Germans to bomb his own men, his own positions. Well, rent is rent, and business is business after all.

In Raab’s case, while private British arms corporations reap billions in profits tooling up the obscurantist royal dictatorship in Saudi, he uses British taxpayers’ money to come to the “aid” of its victims in Yemen. Nice work if you can get it.

Of course, “aid” is a much-abused word. Many countries have discovered British aid – and NGO aid – ends up supporting them just as the rope supports the hanging man. A look at the Twitter timeline of the British ambassador to Yemen – funnily enough, ensconced for the duration in Riyadh – is to see what British ‘diplomacy’ has become. Gunboat diplomacy, without the gunboats to spare.

The British ambassador unleashes a ceaseless bombardment of enemy positions. His enemy, of course, being the very country to which he presented the Queen’s credentials. And from the very country doing the actual bombardment. With British bombs. Milo Minderbender would be proud.

But even if the British aid brings much-needed relief to the literally millions of under-nourished children – many of whom are starving to death due to the food blockade on the port of Aden imposed by Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states with full US and UK support – it will have saved the people only in order for them to be killed by British weapons, guided by British and American military staff officers seconded to the Saudis to assist in command and control cells.
