The role of this country in prophecy is questionable
Israel will be invaded by her immediate neighbors (Psalm 89) then Damascus will be destroyed then (Prob Russia), Turkey, Iran and other Arab/Muslim lands will attack Israel from the north but they will be destroyed but for the 6th of them.
The Antichrist will rise out of chaos (possibly immediately after the rapture of the church) but he will bring 'peace'. He then will be killed and the false prophet will bring a lying sign and wonder where he is made alive again. He makes people take the mark of the beast and this all lasts 7 years before Christ comes back and destroys the AntiChrist army.
The kings of the East are part of this end times attack, but bottom line - God wins.
