I think it is mutating. Had 4 admissions for Covid tonight, none were extremely ill. But I am noticing a change in symptoms. Before, it was sudden extreme SOB ( shortness of breath), low pulse ox along with the loss of taste and smell.
Now, yes there may be some SOB and the taste and smell symptoms, but the worst complaint is nausea and vomiting - severe, in fact all 4 had extremely low sodium levels, one was critically low.
