Robert Merritt provides some interesting insight into Judge Reggie Walton on pages 126,133, and 176-181 of “Watergate Exposed: How the President of the United States and the Watergate Burglars Were Set Up As Told to Douglas Caddy, Original Attorney for the Watergate Seven”

Robert Merritt claims in sworn affidavits that really happened in Watergate does not match the common narrative. Robert Meritt claims his handler, Carl Shoffler, worked for Military Intelligence. If you recall Carl Shoffler was made famous as he arrested the Watergate burglars. In “Secret Agenda: Watergate, Deep Throat, and the CIA” (1984), Jim Hougan wrote Carl Shoffer, “had assisted the CIA in the past.”
