If /ourdeepstate/ is installed in time to begin roundups immediately after the inauguration, why not do it before? For the purposes of horror optics, i.e. people have to experience that much fuckin trauma (inauguration in the wake of fraud clear to all, mass loss of confidence in the rule of law, looming policy horrors that even lefties newly snapped out of their echo chamber programming will perceive as catastrophe) before they will accept the arrests?
My sense is that Trump does want a second term. He enjoys being our POTUS and I think he intends on winning. I hope your scenario does not play out, but am willing to entertain it.
