I've never seen it mentioned but I believe the reason the elites hate Christianity and want to destroy it is because those who use the eternal truths contained in Scripture as a filter for, or determinant of, what is good/evil in the world, are impervious to the kind of brainwashing movies promote. When the Bible is the plumbline for life, it straightens our thinking and keeps it in line with the truth (reality). God's Word (both the written word and the living Word - Jesus) are the foundation for a stable life. Jesus' parable of the wise/foolish men who built their houses on the rock/sand respectively (Matt 7: 24-27) elucidates exactly this. And a similar thought is expounded in Paul's Letter to the Ephesians ch 4:11-16.

"11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."

I know this to be true; I know it in my own life and have observed it in the lives of other Bible-believing Christians.

Not so. I am freed in and through Jesus to be the person God intended me to be. Galatians 5: 13 -

Life by the Spirit

13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

All denominations have been corrupted to some degree by wolves (false prophets) who mingle with true Chrsitians and spread their pernicious doctrine and many who call themselves Christian are led astray. But those who are born again of the Spirit, and led by the Spirt of Truth, do not succumb to these statanic infiltrations. True Christianity is to be found in Jesus Christ, not in a denomination or sect. We know one another when we meet and converse because we are of one Spirit. The wheat and tares must grow together untl the end of the age.

>That's fine, but you still haven't established any true church as being truly a church let alone the true church

The church is not a denomination or a building, it is a body of people with Jesus as its head. These people will be found scattered throughout all the denominations. They are the true church. But some denominations are more recognisably heretical than others and are best avoided. Satan's most effective weapon has always been to mix lies with truth, to counterfeit God's work. Hence the church has been under attack by false prophets (wolves in sheep's clothing) since its inception. But the good shepherd (Jesus) knows who are His sheep, and His sheep (true believers) know His voice. Any group of believers that meet together have always to be watchful for infiltrators who subvert the truth.

The time that God has appointed for this world to end and for all people to be judged is called the end of the age.

Matt 24:36 - Jesus' words.

35Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. 36No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.…

There's another explanation but it cannot be known vicariously - it is a personal experience only. It is called being born again of God's Spirit and is the most life-changing, transformative experience a person will ever have this side of heaven. The Bible then becomes the Living Word as the Spirit guides the believer into all truth. You cannot know it but by experience. It is a very real event that has changed my life completely. And it is available to all who call on Jesus to be saved. And by saved I mean saved from God's righteous anger against sin and the necessary punishment a rightous judge MUST mete out. Jesus died in our place and received the punishment for sin that we deserved.

I have to go now but if you listen to the following link it will explain far better than ever I could.
