I saw the beginning of a History Channel show about the Knights Templar, saying it was basically a satanic cult and members would be required to swear their oaths while urinating on the skull of John the Baptist, spitting on the Cross, and such. And the purpose of the Knights Templar was to carry out paid assassinations and steal sacred treasures out of the Holy Land. I didn't watch it beyond that intro, but it makes me wonder now whether the entire thing was complete disinfo, or if it was revealing difficult facts that the average person is unaware of. If anyone knows some good books or documentaries about the topic, please share.
