Two things:

1) we assume its shady because they ask for phone number

2) there is also a [D] push to paint Parler as shady, because they don't want people leaving Twitter

As with all things, I think we need to resist being pushed into a narrative without a fair analysis of it. As far as Levin, I don't even know if he is aware of these things, but he always seemed like a white hat to me.

I had this epiphany between 1995 and 1998. My job transitioned from being literally on the 'drawing board' at a company, to doing most work on the computer. Then it became 100% on the computer, and I realized I could not live that way.

Sadly, I still became a slave to it. That was my professional skill set, and those were the new tools needed to stay viable and earn a living. So even though I had the epiphany I didn't do anything about it. Even these years later and I'm running things, but still stuck behind this fucking computer way too much.

Make better choices than I did, anons. I'm getting very near the point of self-sustaining living, but it took me fucking forever.
